@Tyler bro nice car but sadly I will never drive one in my lifetime here in the Philippines. Our infrastructure sucks and our electricity billing is among the highest in Asia. The annual flooding alone may cause a fortune to repair it. That is why SUV is the prefer choice to buy, its sporty and high enough to cross the flooded street.
BYD also have this BYD Tang SUV model.

@Tyler Yup need to invest more in its dealership and after services, can't beat Toyota in price and customer satisfaction with its services. An example a motor scooter hit my headlights, I only need to replace the lens which cost $60 service free , while my friend driving a Honda had the same incident but need to replace the whole headlight assemble costing her $285 plus an additional $100 for the service. whose the DADDY now....LOL

@KenC sadly here in the Philippine only Japanese cars are affordable (due to ASEAN FREE TRADE), Europeans and American made cars are expensive, Korean made had poor reputation and are price the same with the Japanese. While the Chinese made cars while cheaper had poor after services. The Japanese domination will stay the same for another 20 -30 years ( EV may not take off due to lack of infrastructure) with Toyota leading the pack by a wide margin.
I thought Korea car is good or at least decent? I mean 5 year ago no one drive those ugly Korea car but new model with decent design now become popular here in Vietnam. Toyota and another Jap car still leading market except Honda( not so good quality with delusional price is disaster, lol). About China car well now they have tiny market share and i consider it good enough when you know Vietnam basically is anti China fortress.

@zszczhyx I saw GAC and MG, with a few BYD dealership, what's popular here are the light Trucks (JAC) and heavy duty trucks, HOWO and SINOTRUCK are very popular beating their Japanese and Korean rivals by a mile. Its suite our conditioned and are not maintenance heavy.
Thanks. Hope China car brands could apply better service and more cost-effective products to Filipino people in the future.

@Lnk111229 bro I had a bad experience when I bought a Hyundai Starex, they don't have a dealership at that time and their after sales services are atrocious. The vehicle itself is bad compare to its Toyota counterpart HI ACE GRANDIA and both have the same price range. I bought it at $30,000 (cause it had a nice and modern look) and had sold it at a lost for $18,000 after 5 months of driving. That traumatic experience taught me never to buy an expensive item without any resell value.

@zszczhyx Bro China need to learn from the Japanese , need to protect and nurtured its brand. If your planning to introduced your product need to have an effective after sales service available and go all out , not piecemeal.

I think it is just that their companies are not that mature yet. It seems that need some years to pass to get more organised on their sales, reputation, services, PR, brand image, repairs etc

It is quite a lot of things which the Japanese have perfected after decades of hard work and pain.

The Chinese companies will have to pass similar difficulties to become international companies with good exports.

This is the difference between a developed and a developing country

After sales service is a very important consideration for car buyers. No doubt about it. But in China, even just a few years ago, most of the Chinese cars have problems in competing against established foreign brands. But it is changing in today's China, mainly due to technological and quality improvement. I think it will be a matter of time before buyers in many countries will rediscover China car manufacturers offering good products at competitive prices. More dealers will then offer services.
