The Helicopter shoot down ( other members be cross check me on this) was due to the IFF transponder of the Heli being switched off to evade Pakistani detection but the SAM operators were not made aware of this and they shot it down.

I think this was a case of Cammand and control failure and doesn't look very good for the seniors in charge of information handling.

Reminds me of a certain incident with ethnic Tibetan Special Forces and old Indian mine fields.

Just look at my post history. I am in no way looking for pats on the back. But this thread is about Ladakh, not Tibet or HR violations in China. Saying that you are ignorant about one of the main points of this thread(The Chinese POV) which has been mentioned countless times, and then asking questions about off topic issues that have surely been addressed elsewhere does not look good.

Trust me, there are several ways to go against the preferred narrative here by sticking to news about the topic.

Anyway, going by claims, both sides have moved into areas claimed by the other side, though disengagement has already happened at most places.

The Chinese here are quite welcoming of facts unlike Jai Hinders. I'm not your ally.

The incident you are referring to happened decades ago and the American aircraft was forced to land in Hainan with its officers getting captured and interrogated and aircraft compromised to an unknown extend. Coupled with the letters of sorrow/sorry/ apology.

You aren't here to contribute. That's pretty clear.

You see how it is? The Jai Hinds (of which I personally would refrain from classifying you as) always start pretending to be all kind and decent. They must hear what they want to hear. You must agree with their delusions else suffer the non-stop semantics and insult throwing. It's worthless and reality doesn't care for this sort of stuff. They entertain themselves with this level of intelligence and degeneracy over at bharat xyz forums but any fair minded person can visit these areas and judge for themselves who the truly deluded ones are and just how far buried in the sand they are.

The problem is this behaviour results in an overall worsening of the discussion as hot headed people join in with the insults. Very conducive to nothing productive.
