Anyhow, BYD continues to make progress in Brazil

first it is building a new recharge network along with Shell


secondly, it brought a few 2024 version of Tang EV to Brazil, even when it hasn't been launched in China. Should be busy in Q2 for BYD in Latin America since I expect Destroyer 05 to also be launched as King DM-i


Finally, it looks like BYD will be expanding its battery operation in Manaus and making heavy vehicle batteries (i assuming this just mean commercial vehicles)

nope.. this is made by Wuhan based ''HuazhongCNC'' company ..

These are all different kind of smart forklifts/AMRs that BYD has in operation. Also the one below. they are moving pretty fast here

meh, some of my pictures are too large, but yeah. They make a lot of their own stuff. And these things are pretty advanced.

BYD should get into construction and steelmaking too while they're at it, then they'll be truely vertically integrated from start to finish.

Laser cutting/welding machines, so essential in car manufacturing, are virtually all Chinese.

Maybe the only process that they like to use imported is paint spraying.

they do have their own construction company, lol. How else can they build everything so fast. Their construction company obviously use their own construction vehicles.

BYD needs to compete against Sany, xcmg, and Liugong? Maybe byd should make their glass for windows and tires as well.

i don't really have. Taylor Ogan told me this. There is no reason to lie about it. I'm too lazy to read through their prospectus

actually glass and tires are the only things they don't make.
They probably do compete at some level with Sany and XCMG actually. although, I wouldn't over do it if I were them, since they supply battery to XCMG now.

Not suggesting you lied at all. LOL. I could only find BYD Construction with a web search and it's a different company in America. BYD's wiki page has no mention of their construction business.
