You mean the war that China started? Yes, I'm sure if there's another conflict the CCP and Chinese ultra-nationalists will pretend that China was "provoked" into attacking and annexing territory. After all, when fighting a defensive war it's never enough to just hold the line and protect what you have. :D
No, there are no wars that China starts, just ones that it finishes. And of course, when someone puts you on the defense, you make them pay by taking the offense and putting everything they have at risk for challenging you. This is China's principle and it can be seen right now in Ladakh. China doesn't stand there and let countries take pot shots at its territories without consequences to their own territories. ;)

Oh dear, people trained to understand and respect the importance of the law. What a horrible thing, they might start respecting people's rights rather than telling them "this is for the good of the country, I'm doing what I want to do".
You just shown how much you've brought into the propaganda, because in actual practice lawyers exploit every loophole to one's advantage. The real creed is "not to break the law".

One could say that engineers are heartless robots who see projects as being more important than people, whereas lawyers put people before big business and government.
You're either too young (i.e. too naive) or you've gone overdose on the Kool-Aid. As expected from a "1450".

Well putting a perspective over this engineer vs lawyer debate. Back then after cultural revolution law and business schools were kind of neglected over Engineering schools, so smart folks tend to gather to Engineering schools.
I expect in 10 or 20 years more leader will come from business and law background.
