From what I understand, IA was outmaneuvered (flanked by late-coming PLA reinforcements), their CO + some other soldiers were killed at some point during the fight (although not sure whether it was before/after reinforcements arrived), and they panicked and fled. Some of them were chased down and additionally beaten to death, but the majority of IA deaths were caused by their soldiers going for a drink in the freezing river during the fleeing stage. In my opinion the PLA victory was primarily due to tactical reasons, and not because their individual soldiers were physically inferior on average (even though that might be true too).Genetics play an important part in our physical well being and performance.
Not a ridiculous post.
War against diabetes: Why Indians are at risk and what they need to know
It is well known in Singapore, our fellow Indians are more prone to diabetes.
I was looking for the reasons why the Indians were easily CLOBBERED by the Chinese at Galwan,
the answer could be in the Genetics.
The paradox of low body mass index and high body fat percentage among Chinese, Malays and Indians in Singapore
RESULTS: Compared with body fat percentage (BF%) obtained using the reference method, BF% for the Singaporean Chinese, Malays and Indians were under-predicted by BMI, sex and age when an equation developed in a Caucasian population was used. The mean prediction error ranged from 2.7% to 5.6% body fat. The BMI/BF% relationship was also different among the three Singaporean groups, with Indians having the highest BF% and Chinese the lowest for the same BMI.
