I think debating if China will provide the J-10 to PAF is not really necessary. Pakistan is not interested in the current J-10 as it is today and wants to make some changes.

We must understand that while the airframe may be the same, the capabilities are going to be different. PAF does want the Western avionics and Fire Control radar. Which one will have a better performance, we do not know but one thing is certain that PLAAF and PAF will integrate systems that provide the capabilities the two air forces need. J-10 and FC-20 will have different capabilities based on what avionics and weapons systems have been integrated by PLAAF and PAF..

16 March 2009:
The J-10 that's ground-displayed at Cheng Du Group entrance since October 2008, is disassembled and moved to Bei Jing Xiao Tang Shan aviation museum.
This article claims the J-10 three sizes are: 16.43 m length, 9.75 m width, 5.43 m height.

So it seems (if they are confirmed), that my estimations for IAPR no. 22 with

16.14 m length (w.o. pitot), 9.36 m width, 5.30 m height

were not that wrong !!! :D

Possible J-10B pics. Got this in the CMF and CDF by Cowlan. Not sure what to think of it. You decide on your own. Possible PS.

Interesting, whats the story when these photos were 'photos'? I spot an IRST and I think I see soemthing different about the intake but its too blurry to tell

There is also another set of photos posted by GT in the CDF but they're a bit fuzzy.

So far the changes appear like this.

1. A long nose probe.

2. Gray oval shaped radome with a flat underside that leads to a

3. DSI intake.

4. There is a line above the DSI that appears to be a retractable probe.

5. IRST in the canopy.

6. The rudder tip is now rounded and taller. Possible ECM change.

7. The two rear ventral fins are extended.

8. The exhaust appears a little different this time, and seems like the one in the museum piece.

9. There is a swelling underneath the parachute boom, same swelling appears on the JF-17s. Could be MAWS.
