Let’s assume 40% (derived from 60/150), only 14 of the remaining 35 MiG-29K can be deemed available at a given time.

And that's just from the radar issue. The MiG-29K literally jars itself to death with every carrier landing. There needs to be re-alignment and replacement of components after every trap along with inspection for structural issues.

Not that it really matters because the Indian carriers themselves are almost entirely missing from satellite photos showing deployment. They might sail once or twice every year so cobbling together 14 or 15 aircraft for short stints is probably good enough.

Availability rate of 70% ? Its better than F-35... Carrier operation is not friendly to aircrafts, even more if you forgot some screw at each verifications...

Part of the world going astray really.
You may notice that concept of openly striking neighbors is just proliferating more and more, everywhere.
India’s largest military intervention in Pakistan occurred in 1971, following mass human rights violations in East Pakistan. India invaded East Pakistan and subsequently declared it an independent nation — Bangladesh.

Pakistan Army carried out the largest military surrender in history, with around 93,000 soldiers laying down their arms. The 1971 war was the biggest conflict since World War II.

During the war, U.S. and NATO supported Pakistan, and U.S. even deployed its 7th Fleet to the Bay of Bengal, threatening to use nuclear weapons against India. This prompted India to conduct its first series of nuclear tests in 1973 and initiate its missile development program.

India’s space program was also initially launched to support missile research but has since evolved into a major, profit-generating commercial enterprise.
