So this is you wiggling around the fact that the Wikipedia 'article' you referenced doesn't actually cite your original claim. And your response is to speculate and infuse your own ideas into the event, but you don't qualify as a scholarly secondary source.

You didn't 'cite' anything.

You referenced a Wiki article, which doesn't actually provide a citation for your claim.

The fact that you're not getting this is fun to watch. Please continue.

China also signed territory over to Pakistan. Were they also "worried"?

As has been made clear multiple times, there has been an exchange of land between Pakistan and China since 1947.

According to basically everyone, even pro-Indian stooges like Christine Fair, yea, it was a huge failure.

The only people who think Balakot was a success are Indians, which is why they re-elected Modi (thanks for proving my argument by the way. I rest my case.)
Their is a exchange and their is a fair exchange. Getting 1400 sqkm and giving 35000 sqkm is not a very equitable deal. Bet the Chinese are not complaining.
I was physically at this seminar where Fair argued against the Indians. Not at this balakot discussion but at a discussion the day before, on Afghanistan where she made some fantastic claims. She compared the Punjab 80s terrorism to the American occupation of Afghanistan. The above comparison was so absurd even i a civilian was shocked by her incoherence. As per her the Americans were losing in Afghanistan because they could not take repressive action against the Afghans like "India had taken against the sikhs".
Now this auditorium was full of civilians, retired ppl and school kids (who were guiding the attendees). And being in chandigarh, was half full of sikhs, who knew indepth the Punjab issue. And her constant use of profanities, including on the stickers of her laptop , was offputting for many. She looked and sounded unhinged. The school kids in their school uniforms were around 12 years in age.
She disappointed many their with her shallow discussion points inspite of being a professor. . This was the day before the balakot discussion. I feel with the Afghanistan withdrawal imminent, she was trying to suck up to the Pakistanis to ensure a smooth withdrawal.
My point being, you are giving too much importance to a person just because she is a westerner.
The balakot attack was pathbreaking not because it might have killed terrorists, but it showed that india was ready for punitive action against Pakistan, shelving the nuclear argument.

... Is this even a sentence?

Bet the Chinese are not complaining.

Neither did we. The only one who complained was India, lolz (win.)

.. Dude, I have zero interest in your life story. Your only point here is that India was "ready" for punitive action, yea? Let's recap your brilliant "readiness" in those 48 hours:

1) You failed to hit an undefended target
2) Got your Mig splashed
3) Had your comms jammed
4) Your Flankers and Mirage 2Ks bugged out
5) You fragged your own chopper in a panic
6) Started crying immediately on international TV
7) Refused to escalate

This demonstration of "readiness" was so effective that within a few months China decided to walk in and slap you around, and again you backed down and did nothing. Do you know what your Indian compatriots were saying on this forum after Ladakh started? They were swearing that India was gonna launch a "massive counter offensive" against China. (lolz.) We're still waiting for that by the way.

Indian armed forces as per you are badly trained and ineffective. Inspite of that Pakistan just restricts itself to whinging in the UN and the Islamic club ? Why not show your strength and take over srinagar, with your bestest army ?
Laughably the Pakistanis and some Chinese here are more excited about the Taliban diverting their attention to kashmir.
Pretty shameful for the Pakistani army that their citizens have more faith in terrorists than their best army in the world.

Not "as per me", but even Indian analysts like Sawhney, who was the JANES editor for South Asia.

(And that's how you cite an actual scholarly secondary source.)

Don't you worry, all in due time.

Shaksgam Valley was never controlled by Pakistan and therefore not for them to cede.
"Win win" was achieved through the generosity of the Chinese.

I must say Pakistan was practical to surrender claims to land that was taken by the stroke of their Imperial Colonialist's pen and in return got a land gift(Hunza) from the Chinese.
.
i just read that Hunza is a "heaven on earth" while Shaksgam Tract is inhospitable for humans :(

China has already factored in India’s “defection” in reality, betrayal.
Remember it was India that drew first blood in Galwan at the behest of the anglos, when it believed China was weakened from Covid.
You’re not going to see China trust India for a very long time, India is sidelined even in SCO, especially given its exclusion in the Afghanistan discussions.
