Increased military spending has consequences. A large portion of the Chinese population are still poor by international standards, devoting more of your budget to the military will mean less schools, hospitals and so on. There's a reason why despite the Russia situation America hasn't increased their military spending much.
Right now the Chinese military is growing faster than any other military on the planet. WW1 and WW2 weren't won by who had the biggest military stockpile at the start of the war, it was won by the ability to innovate and manufacture weapons at a faster rate.
They better retaliate to Pelosi then otherwise the message that reaches to everyone is that China can only punish weaker countries like India and America's superiority complex will be massaged in the process & its stature will increase in the eyes of others.
Nah. China should focus on its economy and development of its national wellbeing. Do not get sucked into an arms race with the US. Ultimately this conflict will be decided based on economic performance.
those people on that show are clowns, stop taking them seriously. What would China do if one of its military planes carrying one or more of its state leaders gets shot down intentionally? China will declare war, or not fly the plane into its death in the first place.
