In the background you can see 2x Bozdogan WVR with 2x Gokdogan BVR missiles and 2 bombs under the wings:

Calculated length of MIUS based on the Bozdogan length of 330cm is between 13m and13.5m and wingspan is between 9.5m and 10m. Similar as the Hurjet and T-50 but up to 50% lighter I think.

Main points of the interview with the head of MKEK, responsible for the development of the 76mm naval gun:

  • Development was mere 12 months thank to splitting of the development of the gun in 5 parts and working parallel to cut the standard development time of 72 months.
  • The 76mm gun is completely digitized and different from its counterparts.
  • Smart ammunition is in the works for the 76mm naval gun.
  • Cooperation with Aselsan on the smart munition.
  • MKEK aims to complete the development of the 127mm naval gun by 2023.
  • Aside from the Turkish navy, Igrek Makina, Ermaksan and Anzatsan are some of the partners of MKEK in this project.

Permits for the engines for the Hurjet and TF-X have been issued:

"The Corporate Marketing and Communications President Serdar DEMİR made the following statements to SavunmaSanayiST.com: 'HÜRJET currently has no engine problems' “The first prototype of HÜRJET, which we call 'P1,' has started to be produced. This prototype will make its first flight in 2023. Permits have been issued for the supply of F404 engines for HÜRJET and F110 engines for National Combat Aircraft. There is no problem with the supply of these engines."

Russia also didn't have problems with the composites for the MS-21 airliner until the airplane became close to production. Then magically the US sanctioned all the companies involved in that. They'll wait for Turkey to develop the aircraft, then once billions are spent developing it and they can't easily change suppliers, they'll cut the supply. Neither of those engines are 5th generation either. At best 4.5th gen.

They might already have started though. The corporate marketing and communications president Serdar Demir that said that the permits have been issued, died:

Either a freak coincidence or something sinister is going on.

Defence journalist Anil Sahin interviewed him some hours before his death:

I am not sure why you are comparing the two country situations. US has no problem supplying F-35 to Turkey except for removal of hostile power air defense system. US very generosity gave sufficient work to Turkish firms.
Turkey entire economic and military systems are depended on West and that include Turkish airlines and all fleet that is used by Government and corporates.
Export of F404 and GE110 is not a threat to US exports or military power of US allies. as they are used to make uncompetitive products in small quantities per year. look at 20 years of T129. The only downside with F404 and GE110 is that US may stop producing them and they become expensive.
MS21 is competitive with 737Max and upcoming Boeing NMA. The more Civil airlines Russia makes. the lesser incentive for it to sell titanium to Boeing or make them utilize Boeing engineering center Moscow. Even the half decent effort SSJ has produced over 250 aircrafts and occupy 50% Russian regional transport.

Picture of a piece of the midsection for the MMU/TF:

"Here's the biggest piece of MMU I also saw the largest piece produced for the MMU in the private security complex that was created. The piece with a width of 5.3 and a length (height) of 1.6 meters provides the wing-body connection of the aircraft. The piece will be located in the middle fuselage of the aircraft."

Interesting, It seems that the fighter will use tandem weapons bays like the Su-57.

The 10th naval systems seminar was held today in Ankara. Some important points:

  • 16 cell national VLS MIDLAS will be installed on the TCG Istanbul (F-515) frigate capable of firing both the ESSM Block 2 and the Hisar missile.
  • A total of 64 ESSM can be carried or 16 Hisar missiles. The aim is to use of mix of both missiles on the Istanbul class.
  • To use the ESSM on the MIDLAS, a umbilical connection between the launcher and missiles needs to be used which Roketsan is currently working on.
  • The 3 other Istanbul class frigates (Izmir, Izmit and Içel) are planned to be completed by 2027.
  • Barbaros modernization for the upgrade and maintenance of 4 Barbaros class frigates is to begin this December.
  • While the 35mm Gokdeniz CIWS is displayed on the model, a decision has not been made whether it will be installed on the first vessel to be upgraded.
  • The modernization takes 16 months for each vessel.
  • TF-2000 design will be completed end of 2022.
  • it is aimed to sign the contract and start construction of the STM 500 Small Size Submarine in 2022.
  • STM will finance the works carried out within the scope of this target with its own resources. The project is not initially carried out for any customer.
  • The construction of one Small-Sized Submarine will take 48 months, and it is aimed that the entire project will be ready for delivery at the end of 72 months.
  • The STM 500 Small-Size Submarine will be able to perform Defense Squad War (DSH), Shallow Water Operations, Submarine Warfare, Special Forces Operations, Mine Warfare and intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance (ISR) missions.
  • STM 500 will have a displacement of 550 tons, a length of 42 meters and a range of over 4500 nautical miles.

HİSAR Air Defense Missile System in Submarine Platforms and Locality Rate Target

HİSAR Deep Air Defense Missile System
ATMACA Guided Bullet
AKYA Heavy Torpedo
TORK - Defense Against Torpedo Torpedo
Unmanned Underwater Vehicle

Biggest surprise for me is the Turkish submarine SAM based on the Hisar, like the German IDAS.
