SAHA EXPO 2nd day/ Minister of Defense received information about the work done at the MKEK stand. After the single shots for the 76mm gun, the serial shot trial was also completed. Work has also accelerated for the 127mm model. In addition, studies are carried out with MKEK solution partners for the domestic production of 76/62mm smart ammunition.
New info from the interview on CCN Turk with Temel Kotil (CEO of TAI/TUSAS):
- In the Pakistani division of TAI there are a 100 "bright" Pakistani engineers working. TAI offsets some work from their projects to them.
- 34 Pakistani qualified BAE system engineers, who are British citizens, also work for TAI.
- TAI has recruited some of Lockheed-Martin experienced engineers who had to be fired due to the pandemic.
- MMU/TF-X will have multiple radars covering the entire aircraft like a sphere.
- The powergenerator for the MMU/TF-X produces 120 kW of power and is designed by a Turkish company (Tubitak Bilgem if I remember correctly. I don't know if it is 120 kW combined power or per engine).
- According to Temel Kotil the MMU/TF-X will be in the F-22 class which the US never exported to anyone.
- Development of Hurjet costs $1 billion.
- TAI will also open an office in Malaysia.
- T-629 project has been halted in favour of developing T-929.

On the 2nd day of SahaExpo2021, we signed AI-322F Turbofan Engine Supply and AI-25TLT Turbofan Engine Integration contracts with Ukraine's leading company Ivchenko-Progress for our MIUS (Combat Unmanned Aircraft System) project.
