Turkey's progress should make all European countries feel ashamed. They completely missed out on drones and 5th gen fighter jets. The Eurodrone wasted so much money and time but got nothing in return. I bet that FCAS, GCAP and advanced CCA would end up the same way

Turkey's progress catch-up.

Turkey is a prototype heaven hell right now. Only recently has the focus shifted toward real production. With new investments by Turkish -SANs to expand the production base, they will soon(-ish) be able to roughly quadruple output across the entire spectrum of equipment; but the military needs those pieces of equipment (even the Kaan fighter) like yesterday.

CENK 300-N switched to S-band. Basically a smaller (and cheaper) CENK 400-N:

If Turkey is able to produce S400 Analog in-house in coming years, I see it as a move to get back into F-35 program. KAAN is years away from being operational and Greece already has its F-35 on order.
