Agreed for TB2 with 22 countries: 3 years have passed, 720 SİHAs have already been sold

BAYKAR General Manager Haluk Bayraktar announced that they have made export contracts for TB2 with 22 countries and the production line has been reserved for 3 years. BAYKAR produces 20 TB2s per month; this shows that 720 SİHAs have already been sold.

BAYKAR General Manager Haluk Bayraktar answered the questions of the Came Back And Alive Foundation, which helped the Ukrainian army. Bayraktar made statements about the production capacity of the TB2 SİHA. Haluk Bayraktar, stating that one of the BAYRAKTAR TB2 SİHAs was initially made per month, explained that this number has now increased to 20.

Stating that they want to produce more Bayraktar TB2 next year, Haluk Bayraktar said, "We want to produce Bayraktar TB2 SİHA in much larger quantities, we are making the necessary investments in this regard." Haluk Bayraktar, emphasizing that contracts have been signed for the export of Bayraktar TB2 to 22 countries and AKINCI to 4 countries so far, explained that the BAYKAR production line has been reserved for 3 years. This shows that 720 SİHAs have been sold.

In the meantime, according to the Presidency's decision numbered 1504 published in the Official Gazette on September 5, 2019; Baykar will establish a new unmanned aerial vehicles and smart systems production facility with an investment of 600 million liras. The activities of the facility continue.

First batch of the 1000 HGK-82 contract delivered. The rest will be delivered by August 2022. Turkey now has 3 different production lines (Aselsan, ASFAT, Kale) for various guided bombs for 3000 pieces annual production rate.

Turkey aims for 75-80% military indigenization rate by 2023:

"With the leadership, support and incentives of our President, our local and nationality rate in our high-tech defense industry has now exceeded 70 percent. Our goal is to increase this rate to 75-80% in 2023. We will continue to do what is necessary for this.”

And the 1000th HGK-82 kit has been delivered:

"The delivery of 1000 units of HGK-82 produced under the main contractor of ASFAT has been successfully completed! "

Interesting that 222 kits are fitted with indigenous anti-jamming GPS

Some more specs on the TEI-TF6000:

afbeelding_2022-08-17_090947323.png

With accompanying description:

Considering Turkey's Turbofan Engine needs, TEI has implemented the project with its own resources and is developing the first uniquely designed national TEI-TF6000 Turbofan Engine with 6000 lbf dry thrust. The engine, which is designed to support the TEI-TF10000-A/B configuration, which is the afterburner version, will provide 10000 lbf thrust together with the afterburner and will be able to reach the forces needed for supersonic flights.

The TEI-TF6000 Turbofan Engine and its derivatives to be developed from its core engine can be used on different national platforms such as manned-unmanned warplanes, business jets, regional passenger planes, civil-military helicopters with 10-ton take-off weight, gunboats and power plants.

With the TEI-TF6000 project, we carried out the design, development and manufacturing stages of the Turbofan Engine, accessory subsystems, fan module, variable fixed blade compressor, flow mixer exhaust, afterburner for the first time in Turkey, and brought critical technology, local supplier industry companies and experienced manpower to our country.

This was near the composite production facility. Apparently belongs to the 738.

One of two Gokbey prototypes in a hangar somewhere. Had to be careful due to the ongoing flight activities. The other Gokbey stationed towards the right is in the colors of the Gendarmerie Command. They have like 4 prototypes. And this is where the photos end :) Sorry...

ATAK 2 is currently in production however there isn't much to see. It's in a very early phase.

The production of the T-70's continue, but due to CAATSA there is a HUGE deduction on its numbers. TAI is doing the best they can.

Aksungur is apparently booked to oblivion, quite literally. There weren't ANY Aksungur's on the assembly line. And that is because TAI just takes them off the production line as soon as they're ready and sends them off to testing.

Hurjet's assembly line was filled with Malaysian delegates.

Saw the F-16 Ozgur in its digital camouflage. And it looks like it will retain it. But it may change later. Hurjet won't feature the digital camo btw. At least that's what they told me.

Hurjet's simulator was booked so I wasn't able to get any photos from there.

And last but not least... the big boi which is stationed in its hangar. I nearly fainted when I saw it btw. I'm not allowed to share anything regarding its design, no photos were allowed to begin with. A very experienced team is leading the program, and it's coming together nicely. That's all you need to know. Oh you might expect to see another MMU mock-up. I don't know when. MMU's prototype won't have RAM paint.

Latest figure is that TEI produced 63 engines for the T-70...

Very good news. TAI has its hands full with all the projects going on but they still deliver..

Was too lazy to translate by myself so used Google instead
TEI already produced parts for the F110 engine for the Peace Onyx program. I hope they now get to produce more, e.g. the fan blades and perhaps even the combustion chamber as in the T700 turboshaft engine production project.

I don't expect TEI to produce turbine NGV or even the turbine blades themselves, but perhaps there is a very small chance...
