The War in the Ukraine

Russian twitter channels claiming an American and British general have both surrendered:
Obviously doesn't mean much without proof or an official statement. If I was Putin I'd keep it quiet until the end of the war as to not provoke hostility in the west.

I definitely think there are some foreign NATO members hiding in the bunker. A senior Chechen commander confirmed it on camera last month. Whether NATO were dumb enough to have senior figures there remains to be seen.

I sense a Nuremberg trial if true...
Most Russian twitter channels later said that it is fake news.

Drones are the future of warfare. Watch till the end:

The caption is wrong. Four mortar rounds were dropped. After taking three hits, the tank started (finally) to change its position. It was the the 4th hit that penetrated and detonated the ammo.

I was not able to identify the tank as T-72B3 from the footage alone.

The altitude of the drone appears to have been a mere 150m !? I’ve operated smaller drones that could easily be heard 300m away in an unobstructed environment.

Also, what kind of DJI drone can hold four mortar rounds? It must be a gigantic custom drone that is super loud at only 150m.

I don't understand why the Russians don't prioritize the Kharkov front. They're getting wasted there. They can't do anything offensive until they stabilize that front.

It's more that they left that front and gone elsewhere. They don't have many troop to keep a front that long. Probably that the south is easier to keep and they want these Ukrainian pushing to stay in the open for the aviation to grind them. It give some chance for civilians to flee too.
