I subscribed to Formula 1 TV just for Zhou and I was really looking forward to him faring well at this grand prix because it looks like he's having a good handle on his qualifying woes especially against a renowned qualifier in Valteri Bottas.Points are an after thought at this point, I'm just glad Zhou walked away seemingly unscathed. By the sound of things he looks set to race again in Austria this weekend, plus we aren't even at the halfway point of the season. Plenty more opportunities for Zhou to score points.
If y'all weren't watching the live broadcast, they wouldn't even show the replay of the crash until they could confirm Zhou was responsive.... which took like a good scary half an hour.
But as you said, it's all moot when his life was literally on the line with that crash and thankfully the safety measures around the car, barrier etc. saved his life. I just hope that this crash wouldn't dampen his zest for racing because such incident is essentially part and parcel of mostorsport racing and the expectations of the drivers dying isn't out of the question. Because I'd the accident shakens his confidence then you might as well call it quits.
