Re: immigration in China issue.

When India eclipse China as #1 most populous nation next year in 2022, you will hear no economist or political pundit say: "Well look at that overpopulated nation with many unemployed youths." Instead, you will hear: "Oh, India's economy is full of human capital and has so much room for economic prosperity and GDP growth." But they jump to: "Growing too old" when it comes to China, but never say "Growing too youthful and overpopulated" with India. That's the problem with arm-chair economists and political pundits. They over generalize things because of an obvious bias against China. Periods of accelerated or decelerated population growth is cyclical and normal. The key is balance.
I disagree. American racism against Indians is just as bad if not worse as racism against Chinese.

Its off topic but I think the demographic problem you brought is valid too. Look at Japan.

I remember years ago where there was another incident in Texas where Muslim parents had their children taken away from them because the father was seen giving an innocent kiss to his daughter on the lips and he was accused of child molesting. I've seen white parents do that and I've seen a white man kiss his son on the lips. The children were given custody to foster parents and were forced to eat pork while there. Let's not forget the incident in Nashville where a Chinese foreign student was falsely accused of a sex crime which led to his daughter being taken by child services and placed in a foster family that decided they wanted to keep the kid. Years went by the parents trying to get their kid back but the foster family brainwashed her to hate Chinese so she could tell that to the court so the foster family could keep her. Eventually the parents got their kid back and they went back to China but the father divorced his wife and the family was broken all because of the hell the family had to go through because the foster family used stereotypes of how women were treated in Chin and not any crimes the parents did to excuse them for kidnapping a Chinese child. If the roles were reversed, you better believe there would be the drums of war beating.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but in this atmosphere, any ethnic Chinese serving in the US military can only blame themselves for making that choice.
The other option was to go in to inescapable debt for a degree that wouldn't guarantee a job. That's not working out so hot for my sister who still gets to deal with BS racism. I'm at least employed.

To dismiss the idea of military service out of hand is difficult. Even in the dark days of internment for Japanese Americans, there were many willing to join the US military. In the end, your home is your home, and the hope is that whatever sacrifice you make, small, like enduring people calling you "ching-chong", or large, ultimately your life, will bring about some kind of positive change for the good of the nation.

Easy to criticize these choices as stupid, but throughout history, these stories of self-sacrifice are held dear. We all know the story of Yue Fei who knew what fate was awaiting him. There is also the story of Stilicho, the part-German Roman general who similarly left the front lines to face his impeding doom.

Philosophy aside, I think the other issue with Chinese or Asians in the military is that they usually don't intend to make a life-long career out of it. I have never met any Asian officers above Lt. not even a Captain. Can't say exactly what it is, maybe path to success not being obvious that makes it unattractive?

In the context of what is indisputably an Anglo initiated race war against China, it is not just stupid but treasonous for any ethnic asian to support the anglo ie white american war machine.
Back in the Korean war, there was actually a Chinese American who was decorated for pretending to be a PVA member and killing Chinese soldiers; he later went back to the country that continues to kill and marginalise Asians and Chinese people to this day.

Part of my reason of wanting to move out of the anglosphere is because i no longer wish for my efforts, labour and taxes to go towards funding this white anglo supremacist war machine.
