This is not the eotech holographic sights, is China's domestic production of the sights of the similar shape
Most likely as I do not see any EOTech brand markings.

Also, those are more similar to XPS-series sights, not EXPS. The difference is that EXPS has a QD lever and 1/3 co-witness for iron sights, compared to the XPS-series' absolute iron sight co-witness.

In short, the text describe the major modification is essentially change out the standard handguard to one that's similar to the DMR version, as the result is a leaner and lighter gun than the standard version.
It also acknowledge the modular nature of the QBZ-191, especially that the handguard can be swapped out for aftermarket kit. The manufacturer will roll out more custom handguard options tailored for specops requirement, such as handguard that has picatinny rails on all four sides.

Ok, do ya have da original text instead of diz godawful machine translation fingy?

Me doing Orky speak shows how disturbing that text is...

The most important thing is whether the handguard is free floated or not. I have a feeling this specific configuration probably is not.

It is not free floated. Notice the two screws under the front sight (behind the exposed gas block). They clamp the handguard to the front sight assembly, which in turn dovetails onto the gas block. So there's no free float.

Yes, as I said, I feel it probably is not.

That said, I am not sure if the front sight post presence itself is definitive, as the more important interface I think is that there is a six o'clock connection between the handguard and the gas block area at the barrel (which is also present on the standard QBZ-191). The front back up iron sight dovetail is a little less definitive I believe.
