The rifle variant certainly looks so much more well balanced than the carbine, though both are aesthetically appealing.

I wonder when they will do a magazine or documentary feature on the rifle and give us some proper specs about their barrel lengths etc.
Well balanced?

Apparently, the new rifle is displayed at the military museum in Beijing (军博), perhaps this is a symbol of its importance?

Also, the official account for 208 institute mentioned a possible reason why QBZ191 does not have a non-reciprocating handle. Basically, non-reciprocating handle may be unreliable in low temperature and high altitude conditions, so 191 went with the basic route.

I still don't understand how the bolt carrier slide inside the receiver. The receiver is hinged right at the "tube" that suppose to guide the bolt carrier in AR-15, does the bolt carrier simply hanging by bolt head connecting to barrel extension if the receiver is opened? or is there some kind of guide rail inside the receiver?

That's door is way to nice to kick in. Someone over did themselves in supplying for the PLA.

Look at the panels and and lock......

Maybe it's a door vendor, using their products as a advertisement/product placement.

Hopefully one day our resident firearms expert Ian McCollum can show us how it functions. Does have that Galil ACE flavor to it.
