Its only matter of time before China gives Apple and Tesla the boot...

In the post Peak oil world where resource and energy inputs are the rate limiting constraints, China just has to bypass the do-nothing collect-it-all middleman and directly get its energy and resources from Russia/Africa and make its own goods and products using Ai/automation to increase the wealth and living standards of its own citizens instead of sending all the products of Chinese labor, intellect, sweat and blood to the US/West and then getting monopoly monies in return... then get accused of currency manipulation, and IP theft, and genocide...

West has had it too easy for too long.... once DCEP ramps up, it will be China doing the wreckoning and decoupling...

They will try to ban solar panels from Xinjiang so that they can set up their own solar panel manufacturing plants.

Everyone knows what they are planning to do

1. The whole Xinjiang debacle has blown up in their face, the MSM is pretty quiet on Xinjiang for now as the entire narrative is disassembled piece by piece,
2. The US Solar Panel industry has already been decimated by Chinese competition leading to tariffs on Solar Panel imports (not just from China). The EU also put tariffs on Chinese Panels sometime back
3. The domestic Chinese PV market has grown much more rapidly under Xi than planned and is set to continue growing.

Net Net, the US will dream up of some excuse for a ban if they are so inclined and I am not sure its worthwhile for the Chinese companies to waste too much time and effort on exporting to western markets when there's such demand at home, the money China isn't wasting importing Australian coal can be used to build more wind and solar farms in Gansu and Xinjiang. Besides why 'sell' valuable solar panels for bits of American paper at the same time as you're busily trying to offload billions in US bonds before they become worthless.

The problem with the US is its too use to throwing its weight around as the largest market for stuff and hasn't realised that's no longer the case and none of the petty bans, tariffs, lies and coercion changes that. The Western marketing mantra of 'perception is all' is meeting reality, just because you perceive you can fly doesn't mean you actually can and if you try it ends up with a bloody mess on the floor!
