I just had a look at a BYD Seal EV in real life and it was surprisingly compact looking

On paper it's a big car but in real life it looks really compact from outside. Somehow feels even smaller than a Hyundai Elantra.

I like it since I prefer smaller cars, but I think this might be why it doesn't sell well in China (where people prefer big)
Having being inside the seal in a showroom, interior feels more Carolla sized rather than Camry. It feels a bit cramped when compared against a full sized sedan.

The external dimensions indicate the Seal to be slightly bigger than a Camry. The Seal's more compact look is probably due to its styling and lower profile or ground clearance.

Having bought a Seal not too long ago, and still own a 2013 Camry, there is little difference in spaciousness. I would reckon the Seal to be little more spacious.
The Seal wins easily on comfort, ride quality , handling, superior pickup, hi-tech features etc. And the great plus point for me is running cost. Gone are the days monitoring price of petrol and queuing up to top up petrol petrol. Instead. I'm charging at home, and the electrical power is mainly from my rooftop solar panels.

Interesting, I think you are right it probably feels more compact due to the lower design. I generally prefer taller cars so I don't need to bend down too much when entering, really looking forward to launch of sealion.
