The best way to lock down an ally is to make them cut ties with western owned media, especifically the big 5 Jewish controlled ones. Normally this would be too much to ask toward normal allies, but Russia is in an active war. This is prime opportunity. Believe me this will lock it harder than kickass trade deals and cultural exchange.

Contrary to popular belief, the core power of western civilisation is not tech or guns, it is always brainwash. Back in the day it was missionaries. Nowaday is their media. The use of brainwash to fracture society always come first. Without it they frequently lose despite tech advantage.
I agree, particularly about how influence is the most powerful tool used by the West, but how exactly do you propose China go around to pitching this to Russia? And how would Russia enforce this? Trying to suppress access to Western media but doing it unsuccessfully would only have the opposite effect.

Russia is already doing it, that is the best part. NGO has to go, no brainers. Banning the predatory sex cult of gay movement is one (nothing against actual gay people).

Next step is to clearly label all media with government sponsor as state media.

Next next step takes time, which is to thoroughly discredit them. Once that is done, nothing of value is lost if you ban them. Dont rudely unplug people wuthout justifications, it backfires.

Make an exception to things like reddit, youtube. Those although heavily influenced, are still user driven. Keep those alive as a cautionary example of how hateful regular brainwashed foriegners are. Stuff like VOA can straight up be banned, nothing of value is lost.

Why not recall from Spain?
Eventually all EU countries will recognise Palestine state, including all Africa, Asia and South America. Perhaps only the 5 eyes remains ....

I am so surprised that Japan and SK, Singapore and Myanmar still not recognise Palestine state ... what they are thinking ?

If Spain recognise Palestine state, Portugal will soon follow

That's not it. US and Europe vote against Iran in the UN much more than China and Russia, yet Iranians view US and EU positively and view China and Russia negatively.
That's hard to believe. Maybe they view US and EU more favorably than Russia and China. Russia also tag-teamed with Britain to invade and occupy Iran, following which was Russia propping up secessionist (short-lived) countries of Azerbaijan and Kurdish Republic, from within dejure Iranian territory. [This is not the Azerbaijan country of today, but the Azerbaijan province of today's Iran].

The belief in North America is that the US won the war for the allies in WWII. I don't know what it is like in US (probably the same) but in Canadian schools' history classes we aren't taught the fact that Russia captured Berlin, nor that the bulk of the Nazi losses occurred against Russians, nor that the Nazi Atlantic Wall remained impenetrable for Western forces until 1944 when the Third Reich had already lost most of it's power against Russians.

To me it looks like a conflict between Russia and Germany more, and less anyone else.
That is interesting, but it sadly explain some opinions you can see in internet.

I am from Spain, as you may know, we were neutral during IIWW but our government (dictatorship) hated the Soviet Union and communism, and was more sympathetic towards the Germans.

But in the history lessons, both in my father school times (in the 60s during the dictatorship) and in mine (in the 2000s, already in democracy) we basically study that the Germans were defeated basically by the Russians, and that if they would not have declare the war to the SU they would have succeed in controlling all Europe besides the SU.

The paper of the US, is basically reduced to the war against Japan in the Pacific and some participation at the end of the war in europe

I tend to agree with the IIWW being basically a war of Germany (with support of Italy and many "occupied" countries) against SU. I underscore occupied because countries surrendering in 2 days looks kinda they were pro German. So countries like Denmark, or Norway hardly can be considered occupied, and they should be considered allied with germany

You do realize the reason China lost all of those lands were due to the USSR? And if Stalin had his way, China would have lost Xinjiang as well.
Outer Mongolia was lost because of both Mongolia and the Soviet Union. Both were culprits. Yet we only see Russia blamed here, never Mongolia.

Indeed, SDF complains about lost land to Russia roughly 100 times more than lost land to Mongolia, even though Mongolia occupies far more Qing territory than Russia today. I find that really strange.

If people are going to moan about lost territory, they should direct their grumbling towards the country today which holds the most lost territory. That's not Russia.

No, there is a middle ground between neutral relationship and treating Russia as a brother and giving it whatever support it needs. Help should be given when either 1) Russia offers something of comparable value or 2) it serves to China's advantage.

A good example would be the current conflict in Ukraine. Is it better to 1) provide Russia with a level of support that allows it to exact attrition and damage to NATO over a prolonged period of time while still maintaining trade relations with the west or 2) provide Russia with an overwhelming amount of aid that results in quick Russian victory with minimal expenditure of NATO resources and China being sanctioned by the West?

Look at what happened with some other nations China treated as an unconditional brother: North Korea and Vietnam. The only true "brother," nation that has stood by China since the founding of the PRC has been Pakistan. You can be partners and even allies without "unconditional brotherhood."

You do realize the reason China lost all of those lands were due to the USSR? And if Stalin had his way, China would have lost Xinjiang as well.
I think you are being too harsh on Russia. When China was weak, the USSR (Russia) lent China a helping hand. I know that Sino-Soviet relations were not good. Nonetheless, the USSR helped China build a thermonuclear weapon. China learned how to build aircraft carriers by purchasing and studying a Soviet aircraft carrier. Russian engines powered most Chinese warplanes until recently. The Chinese space program owes a lot to the Soviet space program.

If the USSR fell to the Germans during WW2, there is a good chance that most of us would be third-class inhabitants of the Empire of Japan. More than twenty million Soviet citizens died during WW2. We should not forget that we are beneficiaries of their sacrifice. If the USSR did not exist, the US would've used nuclear weapons to attack China during the Korean War.

Russia is not a perfect country, but its existence has been beneficial for China. China benefitted from Russia's past strength. It also suffered, but not as much. It's not even close. Now that China is strong, it should support Russia.

The Iranian presidency reveals details of the last moments of Raisi and his companions’ trip

The head of the Iranian presidential office, Gholam Hossein Esmaili stated that after 45 minutes of moving in the valley adjacent to the Songun copper mine area, a cloud mass was seen spreading over this valley, and at first this patch was below the level of the helicopter squadron.

He continued, saying: “When this cloud mass was entered, the field commander of the helicopter squadron - who was the pilot of the helicopter that was carrying the President of the Republic - gave orders to increase the altitude to above the level of the clouds, and after 30 seconds of continuing the path above the clouds, the first and third helicopters exited The cloud. while the second helicopter that was in the middle of the squadron and which was carrying the president and his companions did not appear.

He stressed that the conditions were completely normal and that there was no difficult situation, and the helicopter did not encounter any turbulence, and “when the pilot of the helicopter transporting us noticed that the President of the Republic’s helicopter had not yet emerged from this patch of clouds, he immediately turned around and began to circle to look inside the clouds”.

He points out that their helicopter turned about 3 times and made a few rounds over the area to which it returned to search for the president’s helicopter, but they were not able to see in the aforementioned part due to the clouds, and it was also not possible to return to the level below the clouds, and accordingly we continued for about a minute to Two minutes, then we landed at the Songun Copper Mine and started watching from there.

Esmaili pointed out that from the moment the radio communication with the president’s plane was lost, attempts began to contact the president’s personal guard, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Imam of Tabriz, and the governor of Tabriz, without receiving any response from them.

Ismaili added that they were able to make a call on the mobile phone of a main helicopter pilot, and instead of the pilot, the imam of Tabriz, Ali Al Hashem, answered, saying: “I am not well, we fell into the valley.”

He explained that he spoke to Al Hashem and asked him where they are? The latter responded by saying, “I don’t know...I’m among the trees.” Then he asked him about the condition of the rest and if he saw any of them? Al Hashem said, "I don't see anyone. I'm alone and I don't know what happened and there's no one around me."
