Asian American gets 2.5 years for defending himself in Chinatown, while the group of attackers gets off scot-free. I wonder if he would have been better off carrying a pistol?
Soon in europe, then people hopefully start running.

And this is a german gen z speaking, because in the end I dont want to live in a muttmerican colony on european soil, atleast not even more amifart that it already is.

The thugs were literally still in front of their property, look at the video you linked. Notice the orange awning where the thugs originally peed under is where the thugs loitered after the brothers went inside.

"Objective assessment" my ass. I can see how NYC elected corrupted DAs with enough Asian race traitors like you.
I understand what you're saying, but I think the only solution is to avoid living in areas like that. Did the guy who got slashed with the sword deserve it? Absolutely. Was the Chinese guy acting in self-defense? Absolutely. Does the law consider his actions to be an act of self-defense? Not really. He went back home to grab a sword.
It's a fact that the governments of most major cities in the United States are quite friendly to criminals. That is certainly the case here in Philadelphia, which is why I'm certainly going to move as far away from the city as possible as soon as I graduate. Random guys have tried to grope my girlfriend in broad daylight and I've been called all sorts of slurs by the same type of people. There's nothing we can do about it. Chinese people should just try to avoid big cities in the US.

Trying to make an objective assessment does not make me a race traitor. It's ridiculous that the other party didn't get charged for their role in the altercation, but what that brother did was at minimum assault with deadly weapon. Going after someone with a sword is not self defense.

Even in Texas, it's going to be hard to justify going after someone that had already been walking away with a sword.

I found a longer clip of the incident:

Note how far the brother was away from the original location of the altercation when he started swinging the sword.

I have to agree. From the video, they may have been able to retreat. Instead he went after 4 people with a sword, was unable to "permanently stop" any of them then got gang stomped. Both parties should be charged though.

People who can be targetted for any reasons are clearly in danger but the witch hunt is becoming so confuse that I think everyone should just try to avoid big cities in the US... things are turning insane.

So who's ready to go camping?

There is no need for camps when they track nearly everyone via their online activities and phones. People in the US are probably already tracked and assigned a random ID which can be unmasked by a court order. I think the biggest threat the Chinese will face is employment discrimination. IE we will be suspected of potential corporate espionage and not be hired. An uprising won't come with from the Chinese since we will just cash out our assets and flee to a safer more stable country. Imagine if China set up a repatriation city, 10s of Billion could pour in and Americans can still collect their social security too. The problems will come from all the other groups that think there is something to fight for.

My guy, you are severely underestimating how ignorant and bloodthirsty Muricans are. You really think they won't set up internment camps when Chinese-passing people have assets that can be seized through Civil Forfeiture?
