That would be 庞达村, there's been some news from China about it. You can see photos on the ground in the village

Looks like one of China's poverty alleviation program. The inhabitants appear to be Tibetans. The women wear those striped aprons signifying that they are married. They might even set up tourism business in that village to bring in more income just like in so many parts of Tibet. The average Tibetan income is 3 times the average Indian income.

Not exactly.
"India" never ruled anything. India itself was the part of same kingdom/empire others were. Modern India currently is consisting of several ancient kingdom who fought & invaded each other. The concept of "india" is rather vogue here.

Idk why Indians keep fantasizing about splitting up China.

India is a much less stable nation. Half its people can't even do Hindi.

Oh come on you know better than polluting the thread with the losers’ rants. They fantasize about splitting up China because it could only happen in their wet dreams. The average basement dweller probably fantasizes about bedding Scarlett Johansson in the same way. If you take away their fantasies, what else do they have left? That would be an immensely cruel thing to do.

This map of Gujarat shows all the princely states in Gujarat. This is just one show in state in India. Imagine all these independent countries coming out of India.

That's why those people who want to break up India aren't right. You're gonna have 5000 new countries in the United Nations from what was once India.
India gained so much from being a British colony.

India has 22 official languages. India is in effect, split into 22 parts.

The Indian constitution recognizes 22 official languages: Bengali, Hindi, Maithili, Nepalese, Sanskrit, Tamil, Urdu, Assamese, Dogri, Kannada, Gujarati, Bodo, Manipur (also known as Meitei), Oriya, Marathi, Santali, Telugu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Malayalam, Konkani and Kashmiri (2019).

They could classify it like this:

I would guess that North and South India are about as close as Chinese is to Korean and Japanese?

(just noticed there's a Karen people)

I was watching a talk given by Serhii Plokhy on his book The Last Empire and predictably during the Q & A someone in audience stood up and claimed that USSR wasn't the last empire, China was. I'm always mused that India is never considered an empire in this context even though it's the direct successor state of the the largest chunk of the British Empire. However I do think that India was very smart for not doing the whole ethnological classification thing despite being under considerable Soviet influence.
