We too want China to keep deloying its army in such extreme conditions further straining PLA to breaking point.
The Chinese fight with long range artillery, rocket artillery, drones, missiles, electronic warfare. They occupy all the higher and flat grounds, so no chance of an invasion from India. India fights with manpower. The infrastructure the Chinese build on their side, a lot of it is also for civilian use. In the grand scheme of things, even the cost of the infrastructure is insignificant compared to what they spend on the other parts of China. They don't need to deploy hundreds thousands of troops there since they have enough firepower at the border and can quickly bring in reinforcements. This is not the case for the Indian side.
When a ten year old kid draws out two pints of his own blood and the adult draws out 0.1 pint, the kid says I am going to drain you dry, you got to wonder about his sanity. This is especially if draining his blood this way does not do him any good in the longer run. What purpose did it serve?

How cute, this mouse thinks that just because his back is breaking, that the lion he's pushing against is also straining LOL. The hardest part of this whole thing for China so far has been the restraint that it shows (and oftentimes hoping that Indians don't kill more of themselves, escalating the joke of a situation). If you want to strain the PLA to a "breaking point", you'll have to start straining it at all.

Then you really should have deployed your army in internet war zone rather than on ground.
Trust me, PLA would have been strained out in first hour and you would have a far better chance of winning compared to now your chance of straining them out.
Big strategic mistake.

It has been officially debunked as Fake news:

Do you trust the Chinese media to report truth devoid of any bias?
Similarly, I don't think it's wise to take any "official" Indian media reports without a whole lot of salt.

I've seen how the campaign by Indian media went with the Pak India Air skirmish last year.

And I was following the Twitter handles of India and Pak initially (Ladakh scuffle). While Pakistani handles are almost always individual driven, the Indian ones are quite complex with Media houses running fake news and propaganda.

I was of the opinion back then that India lost the skirmish with Pak not because of the lack of enough evidences of F-16 kill (or evidences of mig-21 shot down ) but because of losing the Info-War.

Pretty sure India actively tries to avoid such a situation from rising again.

Some US hawk want to see China destroyed or dismembered. You want to see India destroyed or dismembered.
Same motivations...
Not really. The Devil is in the details. America hates China because it fears Chinese growth; China hardly does anything to inflame America but just sits there and develops while Americans look on in horror getting ever more apprehensive about their future in comparison. China, on other other hand, really doesn't want to do anything to India. India's not a challenge; it's not growing fast and its tech is not catching up. China wants to ignore India and do its own thing but India keeps inflaming tensions poking China with a stick asking for a beatdown. Basically, Americans who want to see China destroyed want to do so like a CEO who wants to destroy a rival company that is rising fast to overtake his own. Chinese who want to destroy India want to do so like a man who wants to finally rid his backyard of a nest of rats; he wouldn't mind if they were quiet and kept to themselves in their burrows but they are unpleasantly loud and aggressive.
