Jokes aside... I do feel some pity for the Indian grunts stuck in this theater... I know what -40 Celsius feels like, and it's not fun. Once you have all the kit you need, you can fight in -40. But proper winter kit is very expensive. Your need combinations of GoreTex, Down, Merino Wool etc. These are expensive materials, especially when the clothing design itself has to be technical. Look at the prices of Arcteryx shells and jackets and Icebreaker base layers etc. And the side whose soldiers are not kitted properly, they have no chance. It's not a matter of willpower, but combat effectiveness. It doesn't matter how motivated you are, you can't pull the trigger if your fingers are literally falling off due to frostbite.

I don't think India can afford arcteryx gear. If you look at their leaf line (military grade gear) it is pretty expensive. I used arc'teryx leaf for winter hikes, and it is definitely worth the money paid for it.

And of course arcteryx is owned by a Chinese company now lol.

It's not only a "sub-section " of Indian society. It is the vast majority.
Mass hysteria seizing the population of an entire country; a population that is otherwise extremely intelligent and perceptive has been seen before. Germany and Spain in the 1930s went through the same convulsions. Arundhati Roy is mostly traveling abroad and is a well known dissident. She has so far escaped the fate of Gauri Lankesh and Safdar Hashmi.
The flight of reason from Indian society is fast approaching a tipping point. Indian rationalists may be destined to
the same fate as the German "White Rose" (1943) activists Hans, Sophie Scholl and Christoph Probst.

And his "good" motivation to want India destroyed is their "despicable behaviour ingrained in the culture".
US hawk say exactly that about China Gov, with the objective to dehumanize chinese to justify war. He says the same as these people.
His motivation is not different.

Biggest facepalm ever! Frankly I think the Indians have bigger problems then climate gear... we all know and joke around with the atrocious quality of Indian ammo and now we have numbers to confirm... I mean forget about ordering new planes, tanks or even rifles... maybe they should order some working ammo first...

I am half joking and half serious... but the Indians should order rifles from Norinco to save some money... It’s not like they have the ammo to use them anyway and then suck it up and order some cheaper climate gear, something is better than nothing, from some random private corp in China, via a middleman if necessary, so their poor soldiers don’t die for the gov incompetence...

Did China invaded any American territory? India is the invader of Chinese territory. Destroying the invader is perfectly reasonable.
