Can someone provide some context about these photos? Where and when were they taken? Who released these photos? Sorry I haven't been up to date with respect to China-India border affairs. I thought they've been relatively quiet.
They're from last year's incident. The publishing embargo on at least the present tranche has been lifted. Can someone provide some context about these photos? Where and when were they taken? Who released these photos? Sorry I haven't been up to date with respect to China-India border affairs. I thought they've been relatively quiet.
Seems like in response to recent India's fake news "offensive", China released some new photos of the clash last year....Can someone provide some context about these photos? Where and when were they taken? Who released these photos? Sorry I haven't been up to date with respect to China-India border affairs. I thought they've been relatively quiet.
Those are captives from the Galwan Incident. The area where they were photographed appears to be the delta where Commander Qi was injured and four other PLA soldiers martyred.
Oh, for sure. Some enterprising soul has counted all the lined up Indian captives in the mountain pass picture. It'd be nice if someone counted the cell phones PLA soldiers were carrying as well. Thanks @siegecrossbow and @ZeEa5KPul !
These photos look bad on India. I bet Chinese has more damaging photos and videos.
The only thing they have are the pictures of them attacking a negotiator and they released it as soon as they took it.I'm pretty sure that while India too has some pics/videos of their own to show, Chinese have a ton more and India wouldn't want to enter a pissing contest as they'll most likely get further embarrassed. Hence even a PR hungry jingoist man like Modi hasn't released any image to counter this.
