Do they always a carry a white flag around when they fight or did they make do with their underwear? If it was the latter, it may not be a safe strategy since the color may not be white anymore following initial engagement.
Forget that, what are the police forces of two ostensible Indian "provinces" doing shooting at each other? :D

I thought when they start reform they know that you cannot possibly lift everybody at the same time. Deng famously said let the 20% get rich first but your turn will come similar to trickle down theory. But in China the government play such decisive role that they force the rich province of eastern seaboard to help inland provinces with poverty alleviation program. So I think they don't abandoned the poor but stage the economic development

All the wealthy coast provinces and wealthier central provinces are required to help develop the poor inland regions and provinces such as Tibet, Xinjiang, Qinghai and even Sichuan after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. Each of these wealthy provinces are assigned to some counties or regions within each of these poor provinces. They're asked to invest some percentages of their GDP or fiscal income in these areas. And it's not just the money, more importantly, they're asked to send government officials and professionals to help identify programs and projects and work with the locals so that these areas eventually can stand on their own. Essentially, these are development programs.

There was a very popular 23-episode TV series (Mining Town/山海情) aired in China early this year that dramatizes such development programs. The series is based on real-life stories and people spanning over two decades in the poor northwest province of Qinghai which has been helped by the coastal Fujian province. The area has completely transform itself over the last two decades due to the program. The series is in (dialectic) Chinese though.

This is the socialist part of China.

"The Rafales are superior to anything in the PLAAF’s inventory,” says an IAF official."

What's the basis for such confident assessment?
The same basis as I tell you "my pocket knife is superior to all of your military inventory (which include MBT, assault rifle, big fancy knives, etc.)

Anyway... Let's face it, the Indian has to chest thump now and then... What do we expect them to do? They cannot go around telling their people, their bosses and the world that they are doomed, their fliers are paper weights.

It is precisely because of such a mindset that already has a strong prevalence among many Indians (majority) that I am still baffled as to why China has been so 'easy-going' towards India.
Many Indian intellectuals and Military leaders have repeatedly demonised China, have called for opposing China, and to split China into multiple regions/nations if given the opprotunity. India will surely initiate appropriate destabilising undertakings against China, may not be today but surely in the future if ever India feels it has military parity and can get away with harming China (in collaboration with the US and allies).
China may rue the missed opportunities to put India in its place. Most of the Indian citizens, even the educated ones, have already been turned into anti-china citizens.

I really think that the Chinese leadership do not truly grasp how much hatred has been whipped up against China and Chinese people ( no longer just the Communist party , but even the Chinese people), and I have a feeling this will continue to fester and will continue to be used as a Politcal weapon for any political party, and such a festering wound will only become outright hostility, just as the US and the West has whipped up China-threat and China-hatred to an unreasonable amount. The bigger danger is that the India is right next door.

Mark my words, any natural disasters or calamity in China will be met with joy and celebrations in India, any future failure of Chinese Space exploration will be met with jubilation, any Loses China suffers in any part of the world will be hailed as the locals standing up to the 'ruthless and Godless Chinese' etc. there will not even be a hint of remorse because China is 'evil', the Chinese are ,Godless people without conscience', for the Chinese 'only money is king above even Human Life' etc.

Any future wars China may encounter will always have to be with the realization that India will strike on China's western Borders, no matter how easily many in this forum dismiss Indian capabiltities.

Every Chinese man know how much india and indians hate China/Chinese !!

It is not true and definitely not for all Indians. Before the border tension i had a mild admiration for the Chinese which was the same for Americans or Europeans. After the border tension, i still do not hate China but do feel India China will not have a friendly relation.

But that is about it. I have always admired the way Bodhidharma chose China rather than India and the way China preserved his teachings so there was always that bond of Buddhism. I have also liked the way Chinese have risen in their economic stature, risen in their sporting stature and taken millions out of poverty. Several Indians always desired their country also progresses at a similar pace. Many felt a sense of competition will help motivate Indians. But apart from the few who may want no truck with China, there are many who feel things can’t be decoupled completely and they shouldn't be. People should always try to improve things rather than destroy.

The trajectory as I see in coming few days Is that India will grow closer to US which I think will be useful for us. We may not have the previous relation with China anymore. However, most Indians will still like to peacefully resolve issues with China and be friends if things improve. It is a fact that China is more powerful than India in both economic and military terms.

@Abhimanyu bro welcome to SDF hope you enjoy your stay here, this forum is ideal to develop understanding, I had a lot of dealing with Indians here in the Philippine, what I noticed is that Indians that had been convert to other religion is more rational, I had an Indian Muslim friend were we can converse and joke around even insulting each other me calling him bombay (negative insult a money lender) while he called me Instik (a Chini)....hahaha. While we talk politics he always reminded me why he left India, the mob rule, the oligarch, I sometime hear him talk with other Indians with different religion, a Buddhist and a Christian all having the same conclusion. I wish India well, it needed to tackle a lot of issue and this sectarian problem is one of them.
