New Delhi: India has set its eyes on procuring the Russian-made Sprut-SDM1 light tanks, to counter China in the mountainous terrain along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), and will also take part in the trials of the system starting late summer.

This will be a first for Russia because no other country has witnessed trials of a product that is under development.

Pause. Rewind.

This is what the Indians were saying last year:

Engaged in a stand-off with the Chinese Army for over five months now, tank commanders of the Indian Army strongly feel that the Chinese light tanks won't be able to survive in case there is an armoured battle between them and the formidable T-90 Bhismas of the Indian Army in the world's highest tank battlefields in Eastern Ladakh and the Tibetan plateau.

I remember we had this discussion last year on this thread.

I used to think that it was a Pakistani account but after I found her Weibo, I confirmed that Eva really is a Chinese woman.
Fr surprising cause she has her pic right there

In India they have a big population of people with East/ South east Asian features (mostly in contested areas btw...)

But in Pak there are almost no minorties with East Asian features hell the areas that Pak exchanged with China in settlement

Those group of people look like the local ethnic people of Pakistan (Pashtuns/Gilgit people) with hints of Central Asian features

I can't find the photo of those border people in China but I remember seeing tham in a newspaper

For reference this is the pic of people living near China border

Effective propoganda! :))
That was debunked last year. If I remember correctly, that is a photo from a documentary about soldiers leaving the army. Is it effective propaganda? Yes, especially for people who are unable to do research in the Chinese realm of the Internet. Is it full of s**t? Yes because it is fake news.

Since you are relatively new, I just wanna throw some advice out there. When it comes to media outlets, there are three types of media sources most of us don’t cite unless we have no choice or cite them to debunk or make fun of them: Taiwanese, Indian, and Minnie Chan.
