That'd be interesting. Might even met the mid 2030s IOC target if they use a preexisting design with minimal fuss, though I still think that LM has the inside track to win this competition.

LM's F-22 is embargoed from export by congress so I doubt LM is in the game.
Although nobody mentioned it here, Japan selected the LRDR as radar system for AEGIS Ashore system over SPY-6 which I believe connects to this in which LM gets endorsement of LRDR in return LM does not object over Japan's partnering with Northrop Grumman.
It's a win-win for all.

I was thinking of that F-35 stretch for the LM entry.
