Not necessarily.

In the article I cited, it seems that single-photon-detecting employed a completely different detection mechanism comparing to current radar.

So for them, stealth fighter may not be much harder to dectet comparing to a civil plane.

The same reason why painting camouflage may not be much helpful for you to avoid radar dectecting.

Thanks for the interesting post, but the new radar still requires a lot of energy to make it work. With that in mind does the plane needs to be bigger to store all the necessary sources required? It could be done, but the technology to make it smaller and nimble enough to fit into a jet fighter of today's size are probably years away.

While I have read some of the jungle books, Captains Courageous, is my pick, reminding me of my own indentured service as an Air Force Brat, and thank you Delft, you are a fine teacher and indeed a wealth of knowledge. Perhaps if our friend BHO is able to fleece our populace once again in November, you and I could overthrow the bros Castro and become benevolent dictators of that island paradise? You could run the Navy and I the Air Force, keep it in mind my friend.
I know that the US government still mourns the loss of Batista, but this is a matter that is best left to the Cubans. I consider it to be quite ridiculous to maintain sanctions against a country because it didn't want to remain a satellite.

Well brother since we'll be benevolent dictators, we will normalize relations not only with the US, but others, but that really is my point, I am so preturbed by the patently ignorant manner this current regime operates under, I'm doubtfull my heart would take another four years. The brothers Castro could retire in south Florida with full Social Security benefits and Obamacare. We would of course have to exile them, we wouldn't want them coming back and spoiling all the fun. I wouldn't mind an Su-35, and you could flag a fine vessel for your own enjoyment and machinezations? Or Maybe we could spring for a Pak-Fa and that other Aircraft carrier, with a ramp for you sir! Like Darth Vader telling Luke, search your feelings, I think we would make a great team as dictators of a nice pleasant little banana republic, I know my wife would like being first lady, she loves giving me orders! Don't rule this out until you think it through. Probably better ask your wife, or maybe just kind of ask if she wouldn't like a little vacation in the tropics?

I don't think a dictatorship, however benevolent, would stand much of a change on Cuba. The country suffered a CIA invasion in 1961 and that's why the population is well armed.

radars that require more power doesnt mean more batteries have to be used. fighter jets also have generators like those on our cars. In fact, I remember F18s can patrol up to a day and half with refuelling, 16 hours? Those modern jets require a lot of power to run the avionics and the airconditioning for the pilots. There must be generators somewhere on the plane, there is no battery that can last that long.

This absence of news has resulted in me beating some ignorant individual to a bloody pulp on why the J-20 isn't "just a copy" on Facebook. Have our brave wall climbers been caught? *worries*
