In the article I cited, it seems that single-photon-detecting employed a completely different detection mechanism comparing to current radar.
So for them, stealth fighter may not be much harder to dectet comparing to a civil plane.
The same reason why painting camouflage may not be much helpful for you to avoid radar dectecting.
Thanks for the interesting post, but the new radar still requires a lot of energy to make it work. With that in mind does the plane needs to be bigger to store all the necessary sources required? It could be done, but the technology to make it smaller and nimble enough to fit into a jet fighter of today's size are probably years away.
