it's interesting. The speculation is that J-10B will be going into service this year. I am going to say this is the 4th prototype just because I still see J-10As in primer at CAC.

Hmm ... a new photo of a "B" with maybe 1034 !

However the first "B" with the IFR-probe ... so either a forth prototype or the first one ready for delivery ... but still with the AL-31FN.

That's off the same picture as the one showing what looks to be China's fixed wing carrier AWACS.

So either CAC is working on that as well, or this J10B is at some sort of testing and evaluation facility outside of Chengdu.

It would be an interesting development in either case.

just wondering, wouldn't the static refuel probe cancel out the stealth gains of the DSI bump ?? , unless it goes through a redesign to a retractable refuel probe in a later version, it seems like a contradiction of design

Yes ... but I think the picture was taken at the CFTE's base in Xian-Yanglian and not at CAC.

How do you know its navalized version? All I see is a basketball hoop in front.

The unit markings are in red.
And they aren't "navalised" in the sense of carrier ops, just that the navy operate them. From land airbases.
