Yet they have deploy around 232 tank on ladakh alone along with artillery brigades and more than 70,000 troops. along with all the necessary infrastructure to sustain a long campaign. no attrition is happening over Tibet. This is one fight PLA aint winning without a bloody nose. no matter what cheerleaders like to think.
One cannot build a whole infrastructure network to support some 70K the following day. It's more of a engineering problem than manpower when it comes to a mountainous region, hence it has little to do with paving an ordinary motorway or some railway construction. Sending the workforce after a supposed force amassing is another evidence how India neglects the logistics in general. We have numerous examples to support this assumption.

Who said infrastructure was build in a day ? It's happening for a last one decade in ladakh an on all eastern front... Only now roads and other infrastructure is being completed on the LAC to counter Chinese military infrastructure build up in Tibet and Xinjiang. You can go search on Google earth.
If you read again 70,000 troops along with more than 232 MBT are deployed there permanently. there number will swell upwards of 100k in case of hostilities. Those troops there don't just look after china but Pakistan as well....in drass, kargil and batalic sector as well as siachin.
I think you mistook my comment by thinking that India brought those troops and tanks now. They were already stationed there. It was Indian army rapid addition over these along with border road construction which has riled up PLA.

This is what India did with Pakistan all the time until the US told them to cut it out because Pakistan wasn't concentrating resources on the fight against terrorism. And now they're doing it with China because they won't get complaints from Western countries until it's too late.
lol Pakistan fight against terrorism is as real as sun rising in west instead of East .
as I said before all bets are off on this side of border...we aren't taking Pakistan BS on LOC and it's proxy war without upping the ante anymore.....nor we are in a mood to compromise even for an inch of our land under occupation of foreign occupier in aksai chin as well as POK.

Overall Indian ultra nationalism is on the raise. There have been serious fights with Pakistan, removed special status of Kashmir and now these border clashes. India think they have an opportunity during the ongoing pandemic + current US admin with historic anti-China stance. I am afraid they are provoking China and trying to advance exactly like pre-war 1961-62 period. The move by India is a mistake and unnecessary. No good can come out of this. Alas, ultra nationalist cannot think logically.
PLA poking and trying to grab as much land as possible in hope of upper hand in any future border settlement along with a connection to POK from east bypassing northern Xinjiang altogether has not gone unnoticed.
in last 3 decade alone under guise of non confrontational attitude of India and specially under manmohan singh we lost a huge chunk of territory which even Chinese didn't used to claim before. now that funny stuff ain't happening ever again.

What are you even talking about? LAC didn't change since 1962.

We have pictures of the incidences. They are all on the Chinese side of the LAC. Use google earth and pictures. India is poking the dragon. My humble advise, don't.

This guy has always been level headed and more importantly offered at least evidence, reason, and thoughtfulness to his views. He's been on this issue since beginning of May and predicted this even earlier.

He's adamant Modi's troll army (10 rupee army I want to call them) is busy doing damage control but the reality is China's made serious moves intruding into disputed territory along multiple parts. Some structures built already and PLA is stationed in disputed parts and unwilling to budge. Read through the entire set of tweets and watch his youtube - Force magazine. FAR more qualified and reputable person than the Modi cheerleaders online.

He is a foreign stooge a disgrace whose tenure was cut short in army due to his poor performance as a short service commission officer...and your liking for him is given.

That geezer kept mentioning " India's perceptions of Line of Actual Control", which is a weasel phrase. Their true "perception" of Line of Actual Control might as well be exactly where the vermilion walls of Tiananmen stand.
