Characterization and Fluidic Thrust Vector Control of GHATAK elliptic Nozzle model fitted to a miniature gas turbine engine (ADA)

The testing was done on a miniature gas turbine. What engine does Ghatak use ? Doesn't the FTVC need to be applied on the slated Turbofan engine before Flight Tests ?

I think initial flight tests of Ghatak would be without FTVC.
Is Ghatak using Kaveri engine ?

TEDBF the future IN carrier fighter is development from Tejas? If such a thing was Chinese, everybody would be calling it a copy of the Rafale. But Indians say it's "sleeker", "longer", more "fresh" looking. Empty adjectives.

The difference is China managed to reverse engineer top tier frontline fighters and adopted their own avionics, systems, weapons in J-11 more than 20 years ago. India PLANS on copying Rafale sometime in future.

BTW that isn't like a J-10 because J-10 doesn't use a cropped delta for better performance but two less hardpoints.

The problem with designing an aircraft like this is it will be obsolete once it is ready even if everything went ok.
India would be better off either purchasing aircraft or licensing production outright.
India would need to design a 5+ or 6th gen aircraft if they don't want the design to be obsolete on arrival.

So, going by various forms of info. Tenative schedules for Indian Aviation Platforms are : -

2021 : Ghatak UCAV/AURA/SWIFT scaled-down prototype first flight

Metal-cutting for Tejas Mark 2 prototype (This one should be done as well looking at the interviews)

Orders for Mark 1A (This one is done)

2022 - Tejas Mark 2/MWF prototype roll out
2023 - Tejas Mark 2/MWF First Flight
2024 : Orders for FoC are delivered. (which I kinda doubt). Deliveries begin for MK1A

2025 - AMCA prototype probably....

And then there is a big gap till 2028.
