Put it in wrong thread. Re-post it here.

Hi MODs, I am not trying to push any conspiracy theory. Just cannot help but notice the coincidence :
  • Ferguson Riot - 2014 August & November
  • Occupy Central Hong Kong - 2014 September - December
and
  • George Floyd Riot - 2020 May
  • National Security Law Riot - 2020 May
The identical timing provided a contrast on how US and Hong Kong polices handle riots and denied the US any pretense of moral authority to criticize the Hong Kong government.

Headlines from SCMP.

It now looks like the 5 eyes minus one is now down to, like the lost eye girl, (wonder what happened to her), down to ...... one eye!

Hong Kong national security law: US gets little backing with hard line on China, as other countries steer clear of threats

While US officials call on other nations to ‘stand up, be counted’ on China’s new national security law for Hong Kong, fear of ‘touching a raw nerve in Beijing’ tempers other diplomatic responses.

@Gatekeeper what do you think?

I think they should extend visa/citizenship rights to all Commonwealth people.

lol it means Britain already committed towards standing firm with US on geopolitical issues all the way into the future. They are also prepared to forgo any potential trade deal with China by directly undermining her sovereignty integrity.

Fear of touching raw nerve seems to suggest that it is a right thing to do, but it is NOT. Having mutual respect with China means not intervening in her domestic issues. However for 5 eyes nations, having been used to the norm of lookong down on all others as a judgr, may feel it is normal and justified. Thankfully their might going forward is no longer sustainable.

Laugh my ass off!

As I said in my previous post with plawolf. This is all smoke and mirrors from the UK government trying to look tough and stand with USA standing with Hong Kong! Lol

At the same time a message for it's own populace that UK still can have a role to play in geopolitics even though it longer have an empire!

But it is a paper tiger. You noticed the paper wouldn't dare to mention UK offering FULL British citizenship to the 300,000 pathetic souls let alone 3m.

It is talking tough, and indeed, as mentioned in my earlier post, had extended visa stay from 6 months to 12 months. My previous post mentioned about having a party to celebrate the extension. Big deal!

As I had mentioned earlier, GREAT BRITAIN will NEVER grant FULL citizenship to these pathetic souls (I believe I said I'm not a gambling man, but I'm willing to bet my house that Great Britain will never offer full citizenship to all BNO passport holders). Mainly because of the concerned with the right wing of the Conservative party, who during the Brexit debacle has shown their ugly xenophobic side!

So these Hong Kong souls with these worthless BNO passports have got no where to go. After they have been in the UK for 12 months, they must leave! Therefore these passports is not a citizenship, it is just a mean to travel!

As the video posted from John Ross, he said if Great Britain had wanted to issue full citizenship to these people, Great Britain would have done it back then in 1997 or before. It didn't because it didn't want to! So now the UK government trying to act tough to please you know who. But it wont wash!
