You wrote about the US being unhappy about the allegation and I wrote that the US is being more unhappy with NK. You have yet to show that the US is being unhappy, but I have shown the US is existentially unhappy with NK. That the US is unhappy with the NZ case is, so far, your invention.

In case you missed it, was my own speculations not any official statements. At the moment they are more busy coping with domestic issues like the Hurricane that hit key west in case you haven't heard and the NK missiles they are lobbing over.
Basically it's election in NZ at the moment and I doubt Trump will want to interfere with another nation's election with him at center stage of his own but I am sure the US intelligence community is going through right now.
Just have patience it's only been two days since it was released in NZ.

I find your remark totally offensive and inappropriate.

FYI The story as headline news as submitted by SB has is dead in the water.Winstone Peters , the NZ first party leader and anti chinese raised the matter as a political ploy and has gotten little traction with it with the country's major news outlets or public response.

The possibility that we could be electing a Marxist PM next week would be be more worrying for the US.
The labour leader , Jancinda Adhern refers to herself as a Progressive,Democrat but listen to her speech she gave at a socialist youth camp and tell me she is not a out and out Marxist.

We all here knew about it and all already cleared and he did get scrutinized by Security Intelligence Service for 3 years .. and nothing bad found

This just politic ... 1-2 weeks before election ... a lot of things like that recently

and @SamuraiBlue .... nobody here talk about it ... as nothing wrong at all .... only media and yourself make it as a big deal

most people in NZ are open minded and always regard anybody is innocent until proven guilty

Can I just ask why you're making a huge deal about this? Is it because the MP under suspicion was Chinese born? Or are you trying to extrapolate this to assume that all Chinese-New Zealanders are spies? And also, what does the United States have to do with this? New Zealand is its own sovereign country and has its own judicial proceedings to deal with this. Just because the US is vaguely involved does not mean that NZ is going to extradite him which is probably illegal. You're going to deep with this rather sensationalist headline ...
