@Kaeshmiri or rule by committee? remember VP Harris didn't won any Democratic party primary? So she is not well like or popular inside the Democratic Party. My guess Biden will be declare unfit for office before 2022 election and let VP Harris takeover and Pelosi assume the VP position.
I may sound like a conspiracy nut but I certainly believe that Obama is the one who's running this administration. Literally every appointee is from the Obama era. Obama is the one who won Joe the Presidency .He's the one who called Beto, Pete, Amy to quit the race at the same moment and endorse Biden- this sank Bernie, pushed Bidens approvals ratings and the rest is history.
I believe the Dem party is wary of Bidens worsening condition and will simply ask him to resign when it'll become too obvious to the public. They're hoping he hangs on till 2024 and retains his metal faculties till then.
@Kaeshmiri I share your concern especially when I read that the nuclear code is being withheld and Lloyd Austin is the one who authorized the Syrian bombing. On the other hand SEC of State Blinken is a panda lover so China may get a reprieve. What I'm afraid is the incoherency, too many cooks and leaderless. Trump is the catalyst of America decline Biden maybe the one who will finished it.
I will bet that this Biden administration policies will be of similar nature and direction as of the Trump administration's. In my opinion, the US-China relationship changed forever after Obama's "Pivot to Asia" strategy was announced in 2012. Similarly, that change was set in stone irrevocably also after the China responded with its "Belt and Road Initiative" in 2013.
So, i dont see Biden going "easy" on China. The policies would be the same as Trump and only the tone will change. This relationship has forever changed and from now on China should expect much more confrontation on all aspects, such as economics, geopolitics, human rights, propaganda, false flags, diplomacy, CIA shenanigans on the Indo-Pacific and more

An additional crime of Trump is now not being tough enough on China? What could he have done to be tougher on China? What has the Democrats down that is half as tough as what Trump has done?
Good find, i forgot about the book. IMO, the South China Sea building spree and pressure from China were a masterstroke from Xi, and the coming changes on HK election laws is the same. I guess that Xi is steadily and methodically removing hidden dangers and at the same time strengthening the total national power of China

Well, in Obama's defence he did the TPP trade agreement which if it had been signed by Trump then China would be placed in a significant disadvantage in trade dynamics. China really dodged a bullet by Trump not signing the TPP because he hated Obama lol
