any serious fire damage to the deck would totally destroy the paint and the crystalline structure of the steel. So the area of fire damage would quickly rust within 1-2 days.

I don’t see rust. that is not serious fire damage.

it is probably not just wet deck resulting from normal scrubbing. water on deck won’t obscure high visibility white markings on the deck. maybe an fuel or oil spill is being cleaned up?

making oneself feel better about oneself by seeing more faults in others than is actually there is pretty much a universal charaxteristic of “patriots” under any flag.

You know, for an aircraft carrier to have suffered such a serious accident that melted the flight deck, causing multiple perforations - PLAN sure somehow managed to fix it after a few days for this photo without being in a shipyard. Must've used playdough or something... :p
