Okay, there is no doubt that the US spots its aircraft there on the opposite side and lands...they do it all the time. A few examples:

Now, how about the Liaoning? Well, we know that there are markings over there for aircraft to be spotted. They would be spotted somewhere about the place this picture is taken, maybe a little further back. In fact you can see a part of one of the marker lines in the pic:

Here are two aircraft spotted in that position, but not showing any aircraft landing while they are there. But you can see that they are parked behind the foul line. But perhaps not far enough back.

Here's another showing an aircraft being towed away (did it land? or is ot being towed to take off?...we do not know) while another J-15 is parked/spotted to that side:

I have not seen a clear picture of a J-15 landing while aircraft are spotted to that side.

I believe they could be...and I certainly believe that there has been some adjustment to the new carrier's deck that may allow them to if they cannot on the Liaoning.

But we do know that there are two spots there for aircraft to be parked/spotted on that side. I believe there will three on the new carrier.

The red dashed line is a "foul line", the red solid line is not a "foul line" but a visual landing aid.

American aircraft carriers have more space available.

The "foul line" on the right side of the runway has an equally wide distance from the center line. The "foul line" to the left of the runway following a zigzag course and saves particularly the arresting cable system. That may depend on the specifics of the approach to an angled deck. One can often see landing planes diverting to the left of the center line, but never to the right.

An other carrier with limited space and parking spots on the left side of the runway was the second Ark Royal (R09). On

the two most aft spots on the left were used while landing was in progress.

For Liaoning and 001A I can imagine that such parking positions will be created after a major conversion. Save topweight, cut the sponsons with weapon stations away and widen the flight deck.

I believe. on that side, there is some slight adjustment to the sponson and deck width right back there...perhaps o give just a little more room on deck.

This picture that you included:

j-15-5x-landing-on-liaoning-august-16-jpg.31490

Shows that nothing is spotted on that side pf the carrier by the Chinese when landing.

They do have a few aircraft spotted forward, but we are not talking about that.

As I said in my prior post, I have not found a picture of any J-15 landing when there are other J-15s spotted aft, across on the other side of the deck...even though there are two sport there.
