I saw some white markings on flight deck, around the same area where the Kuznetsov's have their AShM launchers, between the two forward positions. Are these weapons elevators or something else?

Not sure what white marker you are talking about but there 2 weapon elevator(2 white rectangle marking) next to the ramp and 2 next to the island Anyway here is new picture from CV 17. You see it clearly in this picture via LKJ86

Leaving the shipyard? Could she be heading to the South China Seas? Does she have helicopters on deck? Maybe rendezvous with the Type 075 and have helicopter landings from Shandong to the Type 075. Its that time of the year, when it gets colder and colder to do trials, take offs and various shake down in the colder waters, and its better to do all those things in the warmer waters of the SCS. The Liaoning should be headed there too.

Yes, for sure. But in the take-off area of an aircraft carrier they are wrong. Better put them to the cruiser accompaniing the carrier.

So they enjoy satellite TV. These small SATCOMs are found in the ocean going vessels but not in smaller vessels like 056. These are commercial, and furthermore Sailorsat is a US company.
