just a thought. What are the chances of selling CV16 and CV17 to potentially Brazil / Russia when flat deck CV18 and other are produced in greater numbers ?

Two chances , slim and none.

Brazil could not take care of the carrier they had. They just could not maintain & keep operational the carrier they had NAe São Paulo. Which was a French Clemenceau-class aircraft carrier, Foch, purchased from France in 2000. I doubt that China will sell off CV-16 or 17. For what reason would China sell off one of the ships?

Brazil is operating the ex-HMS Ocean as PHM Atlântico. A much smaller ship and of course crew.

Hello,
does anyone know what these two small dish-shaped fire-control type radars are called, on the aft of the superstructure?

I don't know. What I know is, that at that position on US-Navy carriers are two similar antennas of a range-rate radar set that computes, indicates, and records the speed of aircraft making a landing approach to a carrier. Both true and relative speed are indicated. You can google for AN/SPN-44 or -46 (newer version).

They should be Type 347, 348 or 349 radars, Type 347 used with Type 730/1130 CIWS. But in this capacity, these radars are used as landing radars, meaning they are used to precisely speed measure and track the landing of the aircraft. Difference between Type 347, 348, and 349 are the shape of the antennas. 347 fully conical, 348, conical with flattened center, 349, mostly flat. These might be Type 349.
