I like how they don't try to hide this haha (at about 14:21)

havnt seen the whole documentary

but China clearly has a very organised, co-ordinated and planned Carrier programme

as Chinas Carrier fleet grows they will the only one that will truly be able to rival the USN in the open ocean seas

and all of their training and tactics are clearly focused on defeating the USN and Western partners

they are also well aware of the containment strategy proposed by the West

Highly recommend watching the whole documentary. It talked about setbacks, challenges, and how the PLAN rise to meet them. It also explained, in some length, how carrier pilots are now selected and trained.

First confrontation of two opposing CSGs in 80 years.

Surprised MSM haven't talked about it; just to up the fear factor. Or, maybe I missed it? Then again, I don't remember any reports on the nightly news when the USN and Soviet Navy were "goofing off." In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if the USN welcomed the change as the last 30 odd years must have been very boring for them. :p
