Of course this was very early and US didn't have many confirmed cases. And to be fair singapore government also didn't recommend it yet at that time, possibly due to shortage of masks and health care workers were given priority.

At that time, the 'experts' in the West were telling everyone it was not necessary for people to wear masks, even though it became standard practice in China. They believe masks were not effective. Just wash your hands thoroughly. Singapore was no different.

It was only much later when the number of cases went up dramatically in the West that wearing of mask became standard practice. Even then Donald Trump was reluctant to wear his mask.

Another thing that shatters the superiority myth is the ranking of countries best prepared to deal with pandemic. Somehow they have got it upside down.

@Bellum_Romanum thanks bro appreciated, we are on lockdown since last week and the cases is falling a little bit from a high of 12,000 cases per day to 8,000. I think our economy can't able to handle it anymore since Imperial Manila accounts for 40% of our GDP.

A positive result of the pandemic is the need to fast track the establishment and the development of regional hub as a major source of growth, Manila is being depopulated as most of the informal settlers return to their home provinces. As Duterte BBB is on its final stretch, this infrastructure project will help facilitated its development.

Despite all the hurt and tragedies, the best thing to come out of this whole coronavirus episode is it exposed the viciousness, inhumanity, hypocrisy, vile and wickedness of the Anglo people and west. They were aggressively attacking China and practically celebrating and taunting China in the midst of a calamity. The lesson is for China to be on guard against the western charade.

Their heinous facade has been exposed and China is now wiser from it.
