Don't make the same stupid mistake that Americans make about China: assuming that the people want to overthrow their government/social order for some personal benefit. Every time I hear an American politician say, "We like the Chinese people but are against the Chinese government that oppresses them," it makes me laugh that they still don't get it. It is one of the cardinal causes of America's miscalculations on China. China should not return the favor. Americans live in a democratic society and they elected a president who is racist against China because Americans want America to remain the world's premier power and China's rise is scaring them out of whatever kind veneer they had managed to put on before. The common American people want themselves and their country on top and China and Chinese people on bottom because that puts them and their children at a global advantage in securing resources and I understand that feeling because as a Chinese, I want the opposite. I don't want to fight class warfare in my country and I don't want to attack the rich or ruling class in China; I want to work together with them to make China the strongest country in the world. You would make a fatal mistake to think that Americans aren't also capable of such patriotism and ambition that is more advanced than immediate personal gain. This is the Chinese government and all Chinese people vs. the US government and all American people; denying this is living in a romantic fantasy.I don't think you meat ALL Anglo people, right?
It is important to distinguish ordinary working people in the west and their capitalist ruling class. The ordinary people are victimized and cheated by the ruling class. Once they finally realize the nature of their capitalist oppressors and exploiters, they will be friends and allies of the working people of China. After all, we have the same enemies -- their ruling class.
