My guess is that they have submitted their manuscripts to some journals, and may be under review or even revising their manuscripts per reviewers' requests as we speak. The time between your initial submission and final acceptance of your manuscript usually takes about 3-6 months. Once your manuscript gets accepted, you will wait in line to get it finally officially published because each issue of a journal has limited space. Of course, many journals now put their accepted manuscripts immediately on-line after they accept them (within a day or two).China has 4 vaccines that have reported the Phase 3 trial results. However, they haven't been peer reviewed and published in prestige scientific journal. In addition, Sinopharm and Sinovac didn't break down the data as Pfizer did. So Western media claimed China hasn't released full data. Both Sinopharm and Sinovac have submitted the full data to WHO so we probably would get more update soon.
If I were them, I would upload their manuscripts to biorxiv (bio-archive) at the same time when they submitted their manuscripts. This way, people get to see your data much sooner than before when we would have to wait until official publication to see it. Although biorxiv manuscripts are not peer reviewed, at least we get a chance to go over their data... And many actually consider biorxiv as "pseudo-publication". I do this with all my own manuscripts... In fact, many journals actually offer to link your manuscripts to biorxiv at the time of your submission.
