Coronavirus 2019-2020 thread (no unsubstantiated rumours!)

I am extremely concerned about this image from the article. If true, this image shows fur farming provinces in China.

For months there have been sporadic outbreaks of coronavirus in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Hebei.

I have always thought it very strange that the outbreaks all occurred in one specific region.

If the picture is true, there could be a link to mink and fur farms in the northeast. We know mink farms spread coronavirus and can spread it to humans.

Does anybody have contacts with Chinese officials? I think they need to be informed of this possible threat immediately!

Given the widely reported Mink-farm Covid outbreaks in Europe, and the scientific and exhaustive way China has deal with Covid from the start, I seriously doubt Mink farms would have been a common link, as that would have been looked at closely by Chinese investigators as an obvious starting point for their investigation.

Sporadic outbreaks are pretty much inevitable given the complete out of control rampancy the virus is spreading pretty much everywhere else in the world, and the mass influx of overseas Chinese seeking safe refuge from the plague, as well from trade and commerce (most of Liaoning’s outbreaks seems to stem from seafood imports). And that is before you even consider possible deliberate sabotage by hostile foreign powers or traitors from HK/TW.

Just like we hate FLG HK TW traitors more than foreigners, so do they. They want to pin this on Fauci, Biden, Dems, Gates, Jews, etc...

Everyone recognizes that the worst enemies are those who look like you.
I wouldn't be so sure about that.

China should be less worried about whether it will be formally accused than what the truth actually was.

I don't know how Covid-19 started, but isn't it strange that the first outbreak of a coronavirus 96% similar as that found in Yunnan cave bats just happened to occur in the city with two Biosafety labs conducting gain of function research on Yunnan cave bat coronaviruses? Even if they checked their logs and didn't find this strain, it has to make you uncomfortable. A bat is unlikely to just fly all the way from Yunnan into central Wuhan for no reason.

If it turns out that this did come from the lab and it was covered up, then Xi Jinping has no choice but to resign. You can't mess up this bad and still be leader. He's be a liability for China at that point. A single comrade can't be put ahead of the interests of 1.4 billion people.

In any case, if it didn't come from a lab then it's in China's interest to find the real cause of Covid because otherwise these nutcases will keep going on with their conspiracy theories.

Making Xi the scapegoat won't change the overall direction of China-US relations since it will not reset the fundamental economic frictions that drive the tension in the first place.

This is quite good actually, as it provides a plausible origin for corona that is not the Wuhan lab.
There has never ever been any remotely credit evidence that even hints at the Wuhan lab as a plausible possible source of the virus. But the persistence and determination in its continued promotion by the western MSM just proves what kind of propaganda outfits they really are.

How many times does it have to be reiterated that it's not weird to establish a lab where the animals are/outbreaks occur and it's mostly likely a coincidence that future outbreaks occur in the same area.

If you work backwards from a conclusion you're either ignorant/illogical or dishonest.

That said the whole Fort Detrick thing is merely to counter Five Eyes lies. If West weren't so dishonest, China would've never played that card.

IN the end the origin of this virus is a scientific question that can only be answered by scientists. Everything else is politics.

There is so much cognitive dissonance among Americans pundits...

Western pundits in Early Jan 2020: "Chinese regime's lack of transparency/rule of law and surging infection cases means authoritarian rule is on brink of collapse!"

<<1 year later>>

Western pundits in Early Jan 2021: "Authoritarianism is easy. Protecting your civil liberties is hard. CHY NEEZE LIES"

------------
Phead128's response:

You know what's easy? Pretending the virus doesn't exist is easy. Downplaying it as a political hoax is easy. Rabid political polarization of mask-wearing is easy. Ignoring scientific advice is easy. Half-assing a response is easy. Prioritizing GDP over lives is easy.

The cognitive dissonance is SOO extreme.

Of course, the default then is "CHY NEEZE LIES.", while conveniently dismissing Trump's recorded Woodward tapes admitting he LIED about severity and airborne transmissibility of virus. The double standards are frustrating. Or how UK took over four months since discovering the UK variant to alert the world about it's significantly higher transmisibility and higher lethality. China alerted the world in half the time from index case to lockdown, yet China gets far more criticism.
