Not a good news. Look like a booster shot is required for Brazil P1. Let see if Sinovac could prevent severe cases or not.
It is now clear that Reuters reporting is another defamatory campaign on Sinovac's vaccine efficacy. They failed to mention who the sponsor of study from a sample of 8 people, which have not been peer-reviewed. Reuters even mentioned that Sinovac failed to respond to request for comment for their smear reporting.Look like the other report about Sinovac efficacy rate against P1 is a paid advertisement by AstraZeneca to Reuters.
"The information comes as a small-sample study suggested the COVID-19 vaccine developed by China’s Sinovac may not work effectively against the Brazilian variant.
Responding to a request for comment, Fiocruz, which sent the samples that formed the basis of the study, told Reuters it did not have any information on the study, as it was being led by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford.
Representatives for AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford did not immediately respond to requests for comment. "
WHO should start with the investigation on the origin of the swine fluThey don't care about the truth. If they don't like the conclusion of a scientific investigation, then they would demand another one. Lab theory is just much more sensational and can use it to crucify China with crime against humanity. Just two months ago, liberal media such as NYT and WP were critical of Trump's administration lab conspiracy theory. Now they are embracing it to demonize China.
This situation in Europe is the fault of the British for not warning anyone about the crisis. Hence the British should do what they can to help other neighbors in this crisis but then again with the vaccine hoarding, things are not going to look very good for the UK in the future
