A year end summary from Xi'an Aisheng UAV Technology Ltd. (

). Of interest are the LQ-302 swarm UCAV and LQ-303 air-droppable swarm UCAV, both of which have achieved first flight.
Interesting. How many of them could each Y-9 and each Y-20 carry?

Plus, I suppose this is another incentive for Xi'an and Shaanxi to build more Y-9s and Y-20s!

Speaking of which, the UCAV having a 400-kilometer range would be more than enough to cover pretty much the entirety of Taiwan while flying along the Chinese coastline and be well within coverage of Chinese SAM and land-based fighters.

However, doing the same with the Ryukyu Islands would require the Y-9s and Y-20s to fly above the East China Sea, which entails higher risks and dangers. Either a longer-ranged air-droppable swarm UCAV is needed, or the tasks would have to be handled by sea-based units, or both. For the 2nd option, a Type 22 fast missile boat-like speedcraft and/or a modified small cargo boat/ship oughta do.

– A certain VTOL/regular takeoff dual-mode training aircraft successfully made its maiden flight.

Reminds me of this, though I'm sure that both of them aren't related to each other.

A marketing flyer for an anti-drone system. The X-band radar mounted on the forward mast can detect and track small targets (RCS = 0.01m2) at >8km and larger targets (RCS = 5m2) at >35km. Mounted immediately below the X-band radar are a set of passive ESM sensors that can track up to 30 targets at >15km to >60km, depending on target size. The rear mounted emitter can interfere with drone control signals operating in 300MHz to 18GHz, with an effective radiated power of ≥20kw and a range of >15km to >35km. There is also an electro-optical tracking system (coplanar with the emitter) that tracks targets both in visible and infrared spectrums. The system is highly intelligent and can operate with human-in-the-loop or completely autonomously (i.e. automatically detects, tracks, and engages targets, all without operator supervision).

Well ... finally again at least "something" on this mysterious "bird". So far - besides the demonstrator from Nov. 2013 we haven't seen any "real" GJ-11 - all have been mock-ups of some sort. I'm most surprised that we have at least some grainy images from all mayor operational types, all but the GJ-11 since if reports are true, it was said to be in service since at least late 2019... but still we don't have even an image of the true prototypes.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the GJ-11.

Allegedly screen captures of a Chinese New Years greeting from AVIC Hongdu personnel. According to the captions, they are stationed at Yanliang (AVIC flight test establishment) and have successfully completed tests of the avionics system of a certain project.

P.S. Does anyone have the video source so I can verify and possibly gather more context?

Hmm? From Hongdu could be also related to the carrier trainer JL-10-J?
