CAS Launches 20GHz Modular Vector Network Detection System.
Chengdu 4D Zero Co., Ltd. officially launched the N2x20 Series, a modular Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) designed to bridge the gap between portable field testing and complex laboratory automation. The launch was accompanied by new supporting hardware: a general-purpose PXIe chassis, an embedded controller, and electronic calibration kits.
N2x20 Modular VNA Series
Dual Form Factors: Offers both a USB portable version (for field/desktop use) and a PXIe modular version (for system integration and automation).
- Performance Specs:
Frequency Range: 10 MHz to 20 GHz (configurable up to 22 GHz).
Dynamic Range: Up to 130 dB.
Trace Noise: As low as 0.005 dB.
Accuracy: ±1.2 dB.
Advanced Features: Supports multi-port cascading (up to 48 ports total), various calibration methods (OSL, SOLT, TRL) via USB-C powered kits, and onboard DDR high-speed cache for millisecond-level batch testing acceleration.
Supporting Hardware: PXIe Ecosystem To maximize the N2x20's capabilities in automated environments, two new chassis components were released:
PXIe-88C0 Controller: Powered by an Intel i7-12700H (14 cores/20 threads) to handle real-time data processing during multi-module parallel testing.
PXIe-1011 Chassis: A 4U, 11-slot design offering 24 GB/s system bandwidth and 8 GB/s peripheral bandwidth, ensuring high-speed synchronization across multiple modules.
Electronic Calibration Kits (RC Series) New USB-C powered calibration kits are available in
2-port (RC12xx) and
4-port (RC14xx) configurations (9 GHz – 20 GHz), designed to significantly reduce setup time before complex testing sessions.

Software Platform: N2000
The suite runs on the independently developed
N2000 platform, which features:
Unified control over cascaded modules without needing multiple software instances.
Comprehensive analysis tools ranging from basic S-parameters to advanced fixture handling.
Industry-standard interface logic for low learning costs.
This launch marks a significant expansion of 4D Zero's portfolio, creating a complete high-frequency testing ecosystem. The system is specifically tailored to meet the demands of:
5G Communication systems.
Satellite internet infrastructure.
Laboratory R&D requiring flexibility between portability and integration.
Production line automation needing low-latency, high-throughput parallel testing.
By combining wide bandwidth coverage with a flexible USB/PXIe design and robust supporting hardware/software, Chengdu 4D Zero has positioned itself to offer end-to-end solutions for next-generation radio frequency measurement challenges.
