I have a suspicion the Philippine Gov-Military/MSM/NGOs aren't telling the truth about the date of the grounding.
I see. Now, I understand where you're coming from.

I did try to search the date, timezones that deals with the exact question you posed with your prior post and question. However, I could not find anymore information that would shed light into what you're asking. Most, if not all of the "evidence" and information provided ALL FROM WESTERN MEDIA SOURCES. I even asked Bing's COPILOT (POWERED BY Chat-GPT4) to provide non-western sources and the bloody thing just spitted out A.P. AL-JAZEERA etc...while deriding XINHUA news agency as "PARROTING THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT LINE" as if those western sources DO NOT. LOL

What is Philippines actual goal here apart from playing victim and doing anti China propaganda for USA? Is it just all for domestic purposes to make BB look tough?

Is this issue uniting pH people or is it dividing them? are all ph deluded and think they should go to war and think they will benefit from going to war or provoking China? Do they want escalation? Or is this just some deluded thing to feel good only, and no one in ph expects that a war could ever happen? Or they want to sacrifice a ship or few navy and think that will somehow benefit them in international arena?

Do they think China is so weak or patient that there will never be escalation by China(intentional or unintentional)or that if there is, they can afford to pay the "small price" of one ship and a few sailors lives, and that USA or others will then help them in the long run(giving free weapons, recognizing ph sovereignty and then helping to recover and defend the islands or whatever they think they will get)? Even if they get some benefits, surely it will not be worth it due to the punishment they will get from China and the end of "normal" relations? Including trade.. perhaps USA is offering that if pH takes the initial loss, USA will recognize sovereignty and then help them militarize their remaining islands, provided that pH allows USA to build military bases on those islands too? That is the only thing I can think of that would benefit pH and USA. But I doubt China would allow this..

I can understand BBs motivations as a puppet and politician, but I don't understand pH people's..are they all that emotional and will risk their country being destroyed over some a rust bucket on some useless reef? Please tell me that it's only a small minority who is angling for escalation while majority are against these actions.

Is there a chance of a 1988 Johnson South Reef thing happening? Or do you guys think all the current islands are going to stay in the same hands and no one will take anyone else's anymore? If pH pushes china, and escalation happens, should china take some of pH currently occupied islands that china claims? I think they should. What's there to lose if they are already in conflict. One ship or 5, not much difference to China.

I mean that's what pH did to China(roc) back in the day with some island, i forgot the name. They took it when there was a typhoon and broke their promise(to ROC) that they would never take it.

Also, do you guys think there should be a red line for China where china should sink a ship? If yes, what line would/should that be? Or should china never escalate and only let pH escalate? Surely China must have a red line otherwise China would look too weak and this will allow others to try do the same thing, like Vietnam or Taiwan or anyone including USA. I know it's hard to draw the line but one must be drawn. the 1988 Johnson South reef stuff seems to not be the enough deterrent anymore for pH and they need a direct reminder it seems. Vietnam had learned, but pH seems like they need a direct reminder because they forgot and are now taking chinas kindness and patience as weakness.

In my opinion, having lived in the PH for a decade plus, I find the majority of the people to be kind, hospitable, loves to party-drink, very friendly. But, they are also highly religious, sensitive to criticism, NATIONALISTIC, which make them highly emotional and easily triggered by countries they assume to be less than and not worthy of respect and CHINA fits the bill to a tee. You couple that with their very PRO-AMERICA/WESTERN mindset and entitlement, one can see why they're acting needlessly and stupidly tough against China. Just as the wanwanese assume Daddy America will help against the Commies; the PH and Filipinos even more so due to their existing defense pact with the U.S.

What % of people would you say this is? They don't respect China? In what way? Surely they know they are weak and China is USAs peer. It's not 1980 or whatever anymore.

Like I understand being emotional and nationalistic and all that. But are pH people so dumb or simple that they cannot separate naive emotional knee jerk responses from actual wise, measures intelligent response?

LOLS 100%. Between Russia and Ukraine they choose Ukraine, Israel almost full support, Mideast super anti muslim it's delusional, All other ASEAN neighbors are alien to them. America's enemies are there enemies. I have business dealing with them and I tell you, they love chinese money but wish them death. Even the recent HK riots they were so thrilled when Chinese people get hurt.

And yet ME and most of my Hua Qiao tribe thrive, I'm not saying its all fine and dandy after all we suffered discrimination along the way, it's how you handle things, rather than complain about it, we work hard and improve ourself, it make you a better person and build character. So respect is earned not given that's what we're getting right now, like I always mentioned being Chinese is beautiful and the mainlander should be grateful cause we made it easier for them to assimilate.

Because majority of Pinoys are nominal "Christians"... the non-devout or non-praticing type. Their Muslim counterpart are a mixed of nominal and brainwashed types.

Rumor has it that when Bongbong went to China he asked Xi to protect him militarily in even if coup but Xi refused him. Now he is just finding someone who could protect him.
